I was kind of nervous making this purchase because I read a few reviews that their bag was shipped to them torn or with a hole in it, but I took the chance just because this brand was half the price of the other brand that I usually buy. My bag did have a tiny hole in it and some of the seeds fell out but it wasn't that bad. I'm wondering if the Amazon factory got a shipment of this brand with many of the bags with holes and that are somewhat torn and that's why the price is so low on this. My bag just had a small tiny hole not that bad. I was thinking I don't know if it would be a bad idea but maybe before Amazon ships these bags they can put somewhat tape it up if they see any tears and put a note for the buyer, I mean it's a very good brand it's a well-known popular brand I buy the pellets from this brand as well and that bag is always well sealed with no tears. so I'm just wondering if the factory got a bad batch from their shipment from wherever they get it from.

I don't know about the flavor I don't eat bird seed. My birds seem to like it.

I have 2 parakeets, 2 cockateils and a quaker parrot and it's a nice all purpose seed to add to the pellets, millet, fruit and veggies. Has a nice mix and larger seeds for the larger birds and the smaller seeds too. I wouldn't personally just feed this alone without the other food sources. O ly issue I ever have is the bags consistently get delivered with a hole in them... that's annoying.

Just got my bag today two holes in the top of the bag seeds all over inside the box

Bag arrived with large hole and seed was in the delivery box. No problem with seed otherwise.
