Good book overall!
The book is really thick over 600 pages so make sure you have enough time to read them not rushing. It started a bit boring in the beginning, but it get more interesting as you dig into it. I recommend this book.

Interesting anachronistic read
Interesting read written in a casual and anachronistic (purposefully) style with humor and gives an extensive knowledge of the times of Camelot

Terrible condition
This was listed under 'Good' so I bought it under the assumption that it was good. The outward appearance would make you think so until you checked the side of the pages and noticed that there was writing along the edges of the paper - which, in all seriousness, is not terrible. However, upon opening the book and going through it, there is a large amount of marks in the first section. I have nothing against used products showing wear and tear but this one had circling and underlining everywhere; the occasional notes are fine - that is definitely understandable as this was a used product. A positive is that it seems most of the later parts of the book were left untouched, which is a huge positive. Overall, it can be said that there is less marked up than there is not but this is by no means as close to 'Good' as it is 'Acceptable.'

Marvelous story telling from an entertaining, informative and highly literate author.
I first read the book 63 years ago and it but had forgotten it is wonderful for children without condescend to them in any way. Readers will be intellectually challenged, informed of the natural world as seen from the time of the Norman Conquest, as well as the mystical, magical and moral underpinnings of King Arthur's Camelot and the Knights of the Round Table.

Excellent content, tiny print
This is a classic work of supreme humor, and humanity in painfully small print.
