The Cage For You? Maybe, Maybe Not
Lightweight and good materials. Functions fairly well. The problem is that the instructions are not comprehensive and there seems to have been an update or two to the hardware since they were written. The subtle differences are important - not everything fits together as it seems like it should. Be prepared to make your own modifications as necessary. On a couple final and positive notes, there is plenty of room for plenty of birds and the feeding system keeps the mess down considerably. The watering system is not fully intuitive for the birds, it seems, but it does hold an adequate amount of water to last several days even in hot weather. Last, but not least, although the cage shipped from Turkey, it arrived with blazing speed - under a week as I recall.Would I buy it again? Maybe, maybe not. But it is probably a better alternative to starting from scratch, particularly for those new to quail husbandry.

many problems
This plastic cage is very expensive for the quality. I watched 2 videos on this product. By the videos, it just snaps together. When you get one side snapped together, the other side comes undone. The aluminum tubes that are supposed to hold the cages together with anchors and screws does not get tight. The anchor spins in the tube. I ended up using 1/4 all thread rod, washers and nuts to hold the thing together.Once you get it assembled and place the feed trays on the cage, the doors will open about 1/4 because the feed trays are to high. I cut about 3/4 inch off the front of the feed tray so the doors would open. Two of the water nipples that were provided leaked. I replaced them with nipples from Tractor Supply. These nipples are longer than those provided so the water cups can not be used.On the good side, once all the obstacles were overcome, the cage holds your birds. The seller sent an installation cd but it looked like the goal was to move the camera as often and quickly as possible. Not much use.I have had substantial buyer remorse and if I did not throw out the box and packing, I would have sent it back.Learned a lesson on this purchase. A place in California sells metal cages with free shipping.

Not for serious quail owners-expensive toy
Indoor use only…if only I had known!Review by Anonymous User I purchased a 2 label layer, then added a grow out and brooder to raise Jumbo Coturnix. Once my quail reached about 3 weeks I moved from indoor brooder to the Hatchingtime outdoor brooder, then at 4 weeks I placed in the grow out. At 6 weeks decided to set on the side of the house where they would stay permanently. Day 2 walked out in the morning to check on them and found 1 completely plucked and headless, feathers everywhere & 4 had been eaten or taken away. The sides of the regular pens have holes large enough for raccoons (predatorS) to destroy your quail. One door was found open with 2 of the 4 quail had been left behind. 4 were pulled out of a completely closed cages, I’m assuming from the door. These cages are not safe for out door use!The idea of the plastic pens are great, yes you can power wash them. The water feeders are easy for the quail in the brooder and grow out. The nipple that the quail need to peck at in the regular cages confuse the quail and I’ve been constantly helping by showing them how to touch to make the water come out. After weeks of feed, cleaning and raising these quail to only be eaten (not by me) really upsets me. The small cages are barely enough space for 3 jumbo Cotournix Quails. I saw on a YouTube channel a breeder modified these cages by removing the interior walls so they could have enough space. You can tell this company sends to these YouTubers a free cage so they’ll recommend them online, but they don’t really think they’re great. I am glad that the units can be power washed so I can hose off all the blood, I will be placing up for sale as fast as I can build a real pen.Sorry I cannot recommend this system, it’s a very expensive toy and not for someone serious about their quail.

Nice
Ordered this for raising quail. A bit expensive from my perspective, however I have to say it went together with a breeze. Had to wait about a month for delivery coming from Turkey and the shipping was $100. I did not order through Amazon, but have to say, very pleased with the set up. Only thing, the screws and anchors did not work at all for their intended purpose, but picked up some bolts, nuts, and washers from Lowes and worked perfect. Probably won't order another because too pricey for me, but if they were about $200 cheaper, I'd have several.L.D.H.

Very hard to get together.
I love them once they’re together. But if you store it outside or in a barn before assembling and it’s cold the plastic snaps immediately. So we had to warm it up in the house. Then had to redrill almost all the holes cuz they weren’t molded properly. Then no matter how hard we pounded it was almost impossible to click them together. Way way way over priced for what it is.

Nope
They are to expensive for the quality. Can build cages for 3-4x less than this and holds more quail.
