Queen of the Damned (BD) [Blu-ray]

I am a huge fan of the late beloved Anne Rice (RIP beautiful soul) . I’ve read all of the vampire chronicles and fell In love with all of the characters. I remember seeing the trailer for this film when it came out in theaters and I about lost my mind! I went and saw it in theaters more times than I can count. This film will seduce you visually and musically. Side note ( this is strictly my own personal opinion and please take it with a grain of salt) after falling in love with the novels then seeing Interview with the Vampire in theaters I had huge expectations since there is a big time gap between films ( rightfully so considering the masterpiece Interview was and still is) however this film fell short of the book, I was so sad they didn’t follow the book closer but I read years ago there was a reason why they couldn’t. Does it follow the book at all? Yes it does in some aspects. Even though I was sad they didn’t follow the book as well as I had hoped I still fell in love with this film, it still touches parts of the novel and if your able to appreciate that they tried to follow the book then I think anyone will love this. That actors and actresses were incredible and the costume design was on absolute point! The soundtrack to this film is just crazy good! Are all Anne Rice fans loving this film? Probably not but I haven’t met a Anne Rice fan that didn’t love it; we share the same thoughts as I’ve expressed but nevertheless we still adored this film.

Of course it's a great movie.Kind of ridiculous that Amazon Prime is not cheap by any means.Prime Video has gone down hill with the content available unless you rent.Quite a bumber

Awesome film, based on awesome books. - Aliayah was amazing in it gone too soon. And although some casting issues presumably on a budget, those that needed to be were good, with Aliayah and Stuart Townsend delivering stella performances. Marius rocks. -P And the soundtrack was good also. )
