H.D. Carbon Fluorocarbon Leader Line
P**.
Breaks at about 50% of line rating
Purchased 80lb and pull tested it using two swivels. Trilene knot lead to 43lbs, a crimp which lead to 45lbs, and crimps with chafe tube which lead to 57lbs on the pull scale. The line is breaking at the knot where it initially goes around the swivel bar for the knots and crimp with no tube (crotch break). The line breaks going into the crimp when the chafe tube is used and the line itself shows being stretched to near breaking as there are bends in the line. I was fishing with it this weekend and it broke off on a fish and it was near 40lbs of drag. (probably a nurse shark) I am very disappointed in this line and I have lost several jigs using Yo Zuri pink HD carbon where the line broke at the initial wrap around the rings. (you can tell as there is a small curve in the end of the line) 80Lb Tsunami Pro which I bought at a local tackle store has 72 lbs break with crimps and chafe tube and broke at 57lbs with knots.

For the price, it's not bad
HD Carbon isn't as abrasive resistant compared to Seguar Premium. This brand seem to shred in the boulders when tautog fishing. It seems a bit too stiff which seem to cut into the knot when tying rigs. It's a lot cheaper than Seaguar but, I guess you get what you paid for.

Yozuri 80lb floura coarbon line fake
I had and noticed that the line on my reels looked to have these abrasion on the line right where I had rubber bands tied to it. Isn't it suppose to be abrasion resistant? This abrasion was apparent after a only several trips out on the water right where I tie the rubber bands. I have other Yozuri pink line and this was not pink it was white. I thought it was weird that it was not pink Yozuri line and thought this may be how it is. Guess what? its got to be fake Yozuri line, what's up wit that? make sure it's PINK and not WHITE line.

Great leader
Best on the market...use a double uni knot to attach to braded Nylon. Plenty of youtube vids on how to tie it.

It works
This is a high quality product. It's not the only good one the market but this is a really good one and tends to be more limp and has less memory,

More Of The Same
Does anyone make a Fluoro that isn’t stiff and is easy to work with? Next attempt will be Seaquar Premium.

Stiff enough, but soft enough.
I've switched over to this stuff completely. Tuna and stripers. Cheaper than the other brands. Stiff enough, but soft enough.

Great leader material and packaging
Love this stuff! Tie a bunch of drop shot rigs for live bait, and this flouro works great! 25lb is my preferred test, will continue to buy yozuri!
