Never again. Please read and learn from my mistake.
Tetra pro algae wafersI have been using this for a month. I kept finding blobs of moldy beige fuzz balls floating in my planted tank and I've never seen these before (the 2 photos uploaded were taken 1 week apart. There have been at least 20 of these in my tank). This started shortly after using this food but I didn't make the connection until a few days ago when I found one of these disaster wafers just starting to form the fuzz. And it's not just 2 fuzzy blob. They break apart and form many which get bigger every day.I have 2 tanks, a planted tank that gets the fuzz balls (Also I lost 3 neon tetra last week and my 10" leopard pleco died 2 days ago... I am trying not to blame this horrible food, but that's the only thing I did different) and a cichlid tank that is now so cloudy I can't get it clear, with incredible pH drops and a very ill Calvus.I don't know why I thought Tetra would put out a decent product and shame on me for giving them my money.I don't even see a lot number on the bag to warn others. So just beware and get rid of this junk.

Our giant plecos absolutely love this stuff
Our giant plecos absolutely love this stuff! We've tried most of the brands too. This is by far their favorite. They come out of their hiding spots almost as soon as it hits the water. We have 2 plecos in the 125G tank. One is over 14" long the other 10".

Clouds tank water
My pleco, catfishes and yo-yo loach love these. The only thing I don't like is they cloud the tank a lot. I thought these were the same as the bag I bought at Petco that says "Won't cloud water" but this bag doesn't say that. I have a fairly large pleco so I put between 2 and 3 wafers a day and my tank is cloudy after an hour of putting them in. The fish do eat all of it in the recommended time frame so I'm not overfeeding them (I have given them one wafer in a day and had the exact same effect on the water). As for the cloudiness it takes a few days for it to go away. I didn't give them any wafers the past few days and the cloudiness is finally starting to clear. I gave the tank a little bit extra of the fish flakes for the bottom feeders to eat while I decide if I want to get another bag from Petco and just use the bag I bought on here as emergency backup or just deal with the cloudiness, which I really don't want to do. All in all these will feed your algae eating fishies and they will love it. Just don't be alarmed when your tank clouds up.

Don't Buy - Hard to Sink
Don't trust the reviews. I think they include the solid algae wafers, without this beige stuff.I've made the mistake of buying these with the beige ring on the outside. They're horrible.First of all, THEY DON'T SINK.You have to soak them in water first and hope they'll stay down. It's ridiculous.Secondly, the beige part breaks off and grows nasties quickly. It creates a slimy, fungi like substance you have to remove from the tank(s) to keep them healthy.Thirdly, my plecos and other algae eaters aren't too fond of these. Always leftovers.Don't waste your money. I'm going back to the Northfin KELP WAFERS.I will upload a video later.

My fishes only eat the inner algae disc
My common pleco and guppies only eats the inner algae disk. The outer yellow ring were only partially eaten on first few feedings then they completely ignore the outer portion. The yellow rings started to make water cloudy after few days.I found breaking off the yellow outer ring works better for my fishes.

Cloudy, with a hint of algae.
I was very excited to finally find a "true" veggie wafer for my fish. While these wafers are about 1/2 to 1/3 the thickness of the algae wafers I've been using, 2 wafers significantly clouded up the water in a 40 gallon crystal clear aquarium. They seem more like potato chips than algae wafers. The fish ate them, and I'm hoping the tank clears up in a couple hours. I'll finish the bag by feeding these at night, before I go to bed, and hope the water is cleared up by morning. Wouldn't purchase these again. Note: The water does clear back up within a couple hours after feeding.

A bit crunchy and tastes like sour sushi...
Let’s see. Amazon asking for separate star ratings for : value for money, flavor, and packaging.Value for money. Two packages, which cost only slightly more than one package purchased through other outlets. Toss in the fact that Tetra Wafers seem to be to me at least the most favored and least water fouling, I’d have to say this is value for money. Not that I am an expert- I just know my Pleco that we’ve raised from an inch long to 8 years later a freaking River Monster.Flavor. Yeah, really? You want me to comment on flavor. Well, fine. I found them to be far too crunchy, and taste like sour sushi! Then they got stuck between my teeth. I dropped one on the floor, my cat swooped in and grabbed it, and seemed to like it just fine. But - that same cat as I type this is chowing down on dog food, so... probably my lack of experience on how fish food should be flavored, and that my cat is clearly out of his mind, perhaps we shouldleave flavor up to the fish? Considering fish aren’t the most communicative pet around, let’s just say this massive 14 inch sized fish came from a steady diet of these wafers, they must taste yummy and have proper nutrition.Packaging. I like how the packaging can be resealed. To preserve freshness I suppose. Not that stale sushi flavor is something to preserve. Oh! And colorful. And! Shows a picture of the corresponding fish to the food - even Spongebob couldn’t mess this one up.Come on, these wafers are awesome. Getting two big packages at once is way convenient. Not sure what that dark green spot accomplishes, but the fish like the stuff, so what do I know?

Happy snails.... to you.... until .. we meet.. again...
Tried a few different algae wafers to make sure our snail and other algae eaters are content. All I can say is.. our tank is pretty clean.. and Gary, our 2+ (3+?) year-old snail, is reallly plump and happy!

DO NOT BUY
100% DO NOT BUYThis food left a ball of white fuzz in my tank where ever I dropped it, not to mention within 4 days of feeding my fish this food they passed away. I didn't make the connection before it was too late.I would never recommend this food to anyone, it was a waste of $30.

Cory Cat Fish love them
My Cory's prefer them over the NorthFin wafers which left a big mess in the tank. These ones are devoured. Even my tiny shrimp will eat them.
