Why did you pick this product vs others?: This product came in promptly and in good condition. The colored index cards stand out and are really nice to have when organizing. We use these in our office and at home.

The 4x6 card size is standard and these are a great deal for your analog system. Basic quality but inevitably, the more complicated and nuanced your system becomes, the greater need for different types of dividers. This is a great, basic way to start with no frills. The price point is better than just about anything else as of 10/2024. As always, compare whenever you happen to be shopping as prices change.

I have numerous pictures. I am taking off my phone. I’m using these to divide up in group the pictures appropriately.

These are bery affordable and serve the putpose to create sections in my photo boxes to subdivide photos to hrlp me locate photos. If I were willing to pay more for them I would like them to be sturdier.

I think a few weeks ago, I purchased what I thought were index cards, and when they arrived, they were so paper thin that they were useless for my purpose of using them in an index card file. I thought of strengthening them by adding a plain index card but to my dismay, the tabs were so flimsy it ended up not working at all. So if you are looking for truly index cards that are sturdy, colorful, and tabbed, these are the ones for you.

I ordered this item, the white ruled index cards and, yes, the black file-box that holds them. Back to the future. While some people still use these for recipes -- hardly necessary for those who google -- I'm a writer writing for writers who use computers. There is still nothing, in my view, that tracks everything category of idea for a manuscript in any genre like the good, old-fashioned larger file card. Every germ of an idea, notation for a chapter, on-line research links, back-stories for characters. There is nothing to say about index tabs and cards that you've seem forever if you're something plus. What I do miss -- and will write eventually to manufacturer -- is the metal rod that held fewer cards in place -- a slider. Only when your box is satisfyingly full -- do you have the ease of not riffling and straightening. An incentive to keep up the momentum. I wish I had not given away my old one. There is nothing innovative in this. It's nostalgia time. The innovation is in YOU! If you have a school-age child -- introduce them to this new-fangled idea of controlling their information and parlaying it into more than one term paper or composition. Nothing is wasted or lost. In other lives, I was a teacher. In this one, a mother of accomplished adults all with PhD.s. Yes! The old-fashioned firebox. Hope this increases sales for the manufacture of this re-discovered product. Next to memory -- it can't be beat. And, unlike memory, it's infallible.

I'm very happy with this purchase and look forward to an organized life...I plan to number the tabbed index cards and file individual white 3x5 cards behind them of everything I need to get done that day. i.e. pay bill, mail birthday card, appointments, etc. I will date and note on each individual white card that task was completed and date it (leaving the white card filed to check every month. Then the card file will last as long as needed. The white file cards can be replaced or added to as needed. Basically, it will work sort of like a "Day-Timer" for those who no longer carry a "Day-Timer" and my notes will help me remember that it was accomplished.
