Bizzy Bear: Off We Go!

We purchased this book in advance of a family vacation this summer, to teach our daughter about different modes of transportation, and familiarize her (to some extent) with the process of flying somewhere on an airplane. In this Bizzy Bear adventure, Bizzy is going on vacation. He begins his journey by catching a taxi, but "traffic's slow"! Don't we know it? Goodness. At this point, your toddler can spin a wheel to navigate Bizzy in his taxi around a roundabout/rotary intersection. Luckily, Bizzy arrives "just in time" to the train station, and proceeds "down the line" in a train - the modern Acela style. Your child can then pull the train down the line and out the side of the book. Bizzy apparently took the train to the airport, and now takes off in an airplane. The final page features Bizzy having fun in a boat in some tropical locale.Even after our family vacation, my daughter still loves this book, and it's generally read at least 2 times a week with high levels of enthusiasm. Bizzy Bear books are wonderful with sturdy construction and engaging movable parts. The text and illustrations in this particular title are clear, colorful, and engaging. Perfect for children 0-3.

This is an adorable book that will provide many opportunities to build language. The slide feature will keep little busy people engaged. It appears to be very well made. I will probably buy some of the others in the series once I test it out on my toddlers/preschool kiddos. Super cute artwork!!

We really love the Bizzy Bear series -- we happened upon it when my mom bought it one for our then 10 month old son. Now he is 1.5 years and still enjoys the books. This is one of his favorites -- he is a big fan of all things transportation and this has all of that (lots of "car," "truck," "bus"...). The Bizzy Bear books are awesome too for all their tabs, slide outs, and moving parts. Each page is also thoughtfully illustrated, so there is lots to point out and talk about on each page. Def recommend!

One of the best stories of our generation. This book will have you by the heart strings for sure. You'd never expect the harsh realities a bizzy bear can face and the unexpected political commentary acceptable from both sides of the isle. My son highly recommends this book for kids his age, as a parent I cannot stress the need for more books like this in our world. Compared to all others, this book stands on a pedestal of greatness. Buy this book, hear what it has to say and for the love of all that is good, go with bizzy bear to the great unknown.

She loves the interactive features and yes, we play peek a boo. Many things move with the tug of a tab. Here Bizzy catches a taxi, gets stuck in slow moving traffic, travels by bullet train...and goes to a beach destination where he goes sailing with a friend. I got the ones with a rocket, deep sea diver and zoo keeper and this one and zoo keeper are her favorites. If I had to get just one of these four I would get this one. For her age rockets and submarines are fun to read out loud and play with the interactive features but too abstract. On the other hand she has been on planes and trains and also to the zoo so those books are something she can relate to.

My 2-year-old has torn pop up books in the past so I was fearful of trying again but these books are SOOOOOOO STURDY!They've helped her learn how to use the interactive parts of every page without damaging the book. I ordered one and then ordered 3 more. They're all made just as well as the first one.She loves the stories and asks to read them EVERY DAY. I could not be happier with them!

LOVE! I’ve purchased this book three times now. Once for my son & twice as gifts. Both my kids (18 months & 5 years) love all the Bizzy Bear books. The rhymes are sweet, the illustration is colorful & fun & the tabs are easy for little hands. I find these books to be more durable than most pop up/flap type books.

We discovered Bizzy at the library and ordered as many of these online. The 12-month-old loved them for a year. Unfortunately, loved these books to pieces. It was a matter of time before he would try to tear at the pieces. A few times I could repair them with glue and packing tape. Out of 5 of the books, I think 2 of them are still in ok condition. I would still get them because of how much the child loves to interact with the movement and they are sturdily made. It is just that if you are not staring at the child every second that they are with the book (or any book) it is likely they will try to tear at it.

Have already many of these books and this is a great addition

My child (18 months old) loves the bizzy bear series of books. Words are simple on each page. There are lots going on each page of the book and my child enjoy all the details seeing what all the different animals are doing. The construction of the book is sturdy, though one of the pages broke already.
