If you have chronic cervical pain like I do, you should consider this product. I use it 4-5 times a week and, after about an hour, find that it helps decompress the effects of a full day of sitting/standing in front of my office computer.The unit inflates (& deflates) very efficiently and the outer fabric is very soft to the touch. It’s also easy to roll up and fits nicely in a travel suitcase for travel. A few months prior to purchase, I actually saw someone on a flight using it and asked them how they liked. They indicated that it’s the perfect travel device as most neck pillows (inflatable or otherwise) don’t hoist your chin and provide full support.Needless to say, I’m very happy with the results thus far, plus the price is very affordable. I highly recommend it if you suffer from cervical spine issues!

I got this after I learned that I had a damaged vertebrae in my neck that was pinching the nerves to my shoulders. After the chiropractor adjusted my cervical bones, he suggested that a neck traction device might be helpful for keeping the discs from being compressed and causing more pain. I researched dozens of neck traction devices--including ones that you hang over a door or bed and other, more expensive and complicated options. This seemed like the best value, most highly rated and easiest to use.It really is simple to use. This comes with three pieces: an inflatable neck brace, a bulb and valve to blow it up, and a carrying bag. You attach the bulb to the tubing on the brace. Wrap the brace around your neck and fasten it in place, using the two Velcro straps. Then use the bulb to blow up the three sections to the desired height. Once you reach a comfortable level of inflation, there's a little bee-bee inside the tubing that you use to close off the hose.The manufacturer advises using this for about 15 minutes or so, a few times a day, to start with. However, I was traveling about the time I was experiencing so much pain. I found that, by wearing this neck brace while driving, it made going over bumps on the road less jarring and painful. I actually wore it for several hours at a time this way. With the ball and valve, I could adjust the pressure up or down, as I experienced a change in altitude. It was easy to take off and put back on, whenever I stopped for food, fuel, etc.I also find this device helpful when reading or working on the computer to keep from bending my neck forward and causing pain. I do NOT use it for sleeping, however!The three inflatable chambers are covered with a soft, velveteen material that makes them quite comfortable to wear. It can get a bit hot, if the weather is warm and you wear it a long time. I recommend that you not only use this to take the pressure off your neck vertebrae, but also do some stretches to strengthen your neck muscles and consciously correct your posture to keep from slumping. When the device is not in use, you can simply set it aside, or deflate and store it in its drawstring pouch. It's very lightweight and portable, easily fitting into a purse, backpack or luggage to travel.At less than $20, I felt like I got a really good deal. It sure beats the horrible pain I was experiencing before!

I was really kind of hoping to hate this thing. I've had shoulder pain and numbness and tingling in the left arm for 4 months and found out yesterday that I have a herniated disk in my neck.Traction at the chiropractor has helped some, but I wanted to get some relief at home. Until I can get it fixed.Anyway, I really wanted to hate it. It looks dumb and wildly uncomfortable. Plus quite a few reviews said it's too small for a big neck, it's chokey, it didn't help, blah blah blah.Got here about a half hour ago and I actually have it on now. I can feel my entire left arm and my fingers have stopped tingling for a few minutes at a time.Pros: easy to useEasy to assembleWorks greatEasy to adjustCons: yes it's a little tight when inflated. I have a 17.5" neck and it's tiiiiiight. But once it's inflated you can adjust the straps to keep yourself from a self sleeper holdPresses your jaw closed when fully inflated so I guess I'll have to get used to itAll I know is that right now, at this moment, I'm getting relief from pain and numbness I've had for a third of this year.

This relatively inexpensive device was clearly gradually reducing the intensity of my neck pain after just a few applications. However, After a dozen or so uses, about a week, it just quit pumping up. Better English trouble shooting information might have helped me get it functioning again but even the basic English instructions were not well worded. The device clearly delivered what was promised but was not well presented to the prospective user.William Boles

This worked well. I have a traditional cervical collar that I’d been wearing to help with neck/head pain that had appeared (I’ve had two discs replaced in the past and a new issue surfaced). I was finding that my lower chin was getting sore from the hard foam of the collar. This inflatable collar was great – no more sore chin, and it continued to relieve the neck pain. I chose to wear it outside for a day of burning brush, and that was its downfall. An errant spark managed to land on the collar and now it can’t hold the air. The suede surface prevents a flat surface for a patch. Will get another one.The tubing sticking out is a bit of an issue, especially the long one to inflate the device, since there is no easy way to keep it from flying loose. A bit of Velcro tape would solve that.Bottom line: the pain is gone. I’ll get another one to wear in situations that might cause me problems in the future.

This product works exactly as you'd hope. Pressure and pain are relieved almost instantly when in use. It's relaxing and easy to use. Haven't had any reason to deal with company as no issues with product at all thus far. You may feel and look silly but it does what it advertises. Very convenient as you can sit anywhere and it's compact for travel so you can bring it with you anywhere too , unlike some other similar devices. Just have to be vigilant of how long you use it each time so you don't inadvertently pinch any nerves or veins with undo pressure. HIGHLY recommend!

Yesterday, after 3 weeks of pain and feeling miserable with little sleep I was finally diagnosed with a trapped nerve at the top of my spine which was causing unbelievable pain across my shoulder down my arm and pins and needles down my arms and into my hands and fingers.MRI scan was arranged.I got home still feeling miserable thinking of the pain I was going to have to put up with until scan and treatment could start.I had forgotten I had ordered this item that had landed on my doortep from Amazon.I put it on pumped it up and within an hour the pain, aching and pins and needles had subsided.For the price even if I have to buy another one within the next month I would.This product does exactly what it says.Highly recommend👌👍👍
