Starwest Botanicals Organic Gotu Kola Herb C/S, 1 Pound

I've used a different brand of gotu kola in the back in 2015 for the rain benefits and noticed that the keloids I have either shrunk or completely disappeared. I had an emergency c-section in may 2017 and the scar formed a keloid, with one side being noticeably bigger and showing through form fitting clothes. I hope this gotu kola gets rid of it or shrinks it drastically.Already I've noticed that its working in other ways, like I feel super relaxed and I haven't had any night terrors since drinking this tea. And this morning when i stretched, the area of my c-section felt like if I bent further back it would rip open and it hasn't felt like that since 2017 when it was healing.I will update with pictures if theres any drastic changes to my scar.

Pleased with results of herb brewed as a tea.

I got this for skin. Started adding rounded teaspoonful to juice glass of hot tea each morning. Tastes like wet weeds but okay, doing it for health. You could throw it into a smoothie I guess.Here is the good news....two weeks into this herb, I discovered that my one varicose vein, a pregnancy artifact, was almost completely gone! I have been self conscious of this for twenty years. So I googledgotu kola and found out that it is being used for varicose veins! It benefits lots of things, but the vein repair saved me surgical solution. Unbelievable...from a teaspoonful of wet weeds every morning.

I make a tea from the leaves every night and find that my sleep is deep and undisturbed as a result. Gotu Kola has many health benefits and is highly prized by Ayurveda for its effects on memory and cognitive functioning. Its anti-inflammatory properties also aid in the treatment of chronic skin conditions, arthritis, anxiety and nervous disorders, wound healing, and many others. As with any supplement taken on a regular basis, it is important that the herb is grown organically, without pesticides and chemical fertilizers, as those will dilute the nutritional value as well as introduce toxins into your body.

So far so good. Will write an in depth review a month from now. Only complaint is that there was a small cut in the mylar container it came in. Apparently a razor cut. Thank goodness the bag was in a box. Otherwise I would've given 5 stars.

My bag seems to consist entirely of petioles (no leaves), but according to my research the petioles have as much of the asiaticosides that I want as the leaves, so I'm ok with it. I'm happy with the ethanolic extracts I've made.

Great product, great price. I really like the that you can reseal the bag that it comes in. It keeps the product bug free and fresh for months. This is my second time ordering it. It arrived promptly in perfect condition.

The nutritional benefits really got my attention, but I found I really love the tea! I drink it daily, and was pleased to find a source that offered the product in bulk. Much cheaper than buying the individual tea bags. Love this product!

Four stars because I expected to see the actual leaves and not so much stalk although I do believe stalk also contain active ingredients. Additionally there was no sell by/expiry date on the package.. which should be looked in to. Taste is pleasant and product delivered on time
