Possibly the most comfortable strap I've used in a long career
Leather is bizarre stuff. It's touch as hell and last for ever. Should be uncomfortable. For most of my 45+ years of playing, I used to have a thinner, but similarly wide leather strap that was so uncomfortable on its inner padding that I used it reversed. Luckily, I didn't have a lot of instruments with serious head-dive issues, as this strap was polished on the 'outside' I was using on the inside. Then I was given a faux-leather strap - thrown in with a bass I bought - that was just a bit more comfortable, about 9 years ago. Retailed at £40. I kept going back and forth, but eventually abandoned and discarded the old leather thing, but still wasn't 100% comfortable. This I bought for a new 5-string fretless - I just felt it's be nice to get everything from scratch for such a great instruments. Plus I wanted to chance the gamble that it might just be better that the faux leather one. But, given I use Schaller Strap Locks (the old, good ones that don't come undone and throw your axe on the floor), I'm now using this one exclusively on all my instruments.Dunno what they've put in between the outer tough leather and the inner, very comfortable lining, but this makes every one of my basses and guitars feel lighter, less of a drag on the shoulder; even my fretted 5-string, which is nearly as heavy as an early 90s Stringray 5 I sold due to shoulder problems.I got it when it was at around £30, but, IMHO, it's even worth getting for the current 150% of what I paid. It just has enough grip to counter any neck-dive (my SG Pro, of course, has some); but it never tears at my shoulder. I'd happily use this with a heavy-generation Les Paul - not that I have one). It makes my late-70s Jazz Bass (the heavy generation) feel like a toy.Not that the old leather strap was a problem on all-nighter gigs, but this is just a major upgrade. And I'm not 30 anymore and can't deal with those heavy concrete basses quite as well as back then.I highly recommend this strap for - at least in my experience - the most comfortable, relaxed playing experience. BTW, I have my instruments fairly high up, and that means more pull on the shoulder. No; this is really fine and comfortable - very comfortable!! The 3.5" width is on the brink, but it's not so wide that it chaffs your neck (you body's neck, not you bass' neck), and I'm not a very wide build. Thanks to you guys at Levy's for creating this, for my linking - a seasoned player -, best strap there is on the market. I might not wear your jeans, but I sure might get another of these for quick-changing instruments in a life setting.SUPER-HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Very good
Very comfy, feels like its high quality (I only use it at home so not in a gig situation)

Perfect for a Les Paul
I was always getting a sore back playing my LP, whether sitting or standing, as it's so heavy. So many of my guitar-playing friends, who also owned a Les Paul or equivalent copy, suggested getting a wide leather strap. I wanted one that would also double up as a bass guitar strap, so ordered this. The quality of this strap can't be overstated, it's absolutely ideal.

Nice leather strap for a heavy bass
Very nicely machined and very soft, compliant leather. Padding could be a bit more generous as could the overall length. For me it is fine because I play bass quite high up. For anyone who likes to hang low, it might be too short.

Buy cheap, buy twice! Excellent if pricey strap that will last forever.
I ordered one of these straps because in a fit of lockdown enthusiasm I decided to buy a bass guitar and learn how to play it. In my experience the two (buying. Followed by learning) don't always go together.(I'm looking at you, ukulele).Anyway, I have a couple of guitar straps but the bass is a weightier beast so I decided to invest in a new wider strap to help shoulder the burden.I knew from my experiences with my neck-diving SG the importance of a suede back on a strap, and the back of this strap is nice and grippy. The leather is of excellent quality. I went for dark brown and it looks great from the start. Given the thickness and quality it will only improve with age.In fact the quality of the leather turned out to be a bit of a problem as it is so thick I couldn't get my usual Dunlop strap lock fitting on to the strap. If I had persevered it might have been possible, but the strap fitted on my bass snuggly without so I haven't bothered. As I consider the quality of the strap, and the certainty that it will outlast me (unless my wife makes good on her promise to have me stuffed and fashioned into a novelty coat stand when the time comes), 4 stars seems a bit mean. The strap is undeniably pricey (in fact it cost 20% of the cost of the bass!), But it is hand-made in Canada by nice Canadians who are presumably not labouring in sweatshop conditions and will last forever so you pays your money and you takes your choice.Damn, it should have been 5 stars.

Worth much more that the buy price
Great product - high quality leather work and not thin like a lot of the other guitar straps on the market. Great price, on time and way above what I was expecting. It’s a pity I do not have twelve more guitars so I could order twelve more straps.

Comfortable and well constructed guitar strap
Not the cheapest guitar strap around but as a bass player these straps are just brilliant to use. Very comfortable, ok a bit fiddly adjustment but once set up they are fine. Very secure, comfortable on the shoulder supporting the instrument well. Very well made and this is the second one I have purchased and the first one is still not showing any signs of wear. Highly recommended.

Nice wide quality strap for bass guitar
I always try and buy Levy's brand guitar straps if I can. The quality is just leagues ahead of the competition around the same price. They are cheaper straps, but the quality and craftsmanship is worth it.This particular strap was bought for use with bass and it's perfect. Nice and wide. With a layer of padding inside the leather. And if you're a sucker for that 'new leather smell' this has it in spades. It's not incredibly long, even on its longest loops, so if you like a low slung base I'd advise going for the XL version. Same width, just longer. But for a 'comfort fit' it's perfect.

Excelente calidad y muy cómodo
Me sorprendió la calidad, y se puede ajustar a la medida que sea necesario, pero si pudieran mejorar el embalaje sería perfecto.

Best wide bass strap out there
Really comfortable strap. Its quite wide so the pressure is dispersed evenly on your shoulder. Great for heavier instruments.

Meravigliosa
Tracolla in pelle solida e curata nelle finiture.
