I love nitro RC but fuel is a luxury item for me and i go though it quickly.Tuning carbs, changing plugs, adding fuel, fumes and noise all enchanted me as a youngster but became annoying over time. I'm getting older and ain't nobody got time for all that now. I just wanna do some slides on my court right quick, feel me. So long ago I placed my rig on a shelf. Kept the dust off her and just stared at her once in a while for over a decade.I came accross a brushless adapter plate on ebay. Started searching Amazon for motors that would fit and came across this little gem.Paired it with a 2S lipo and new 20T hardened alloy pinion gear both also from Amazon. The motor shaft diameter listed in the product description is correct.I installed all the new guts as seen in the pics and let me tell you this thing rips! I like to just blast it down the street and do some big high speed slides and drifts and whatever and it does that with ease just like the .15 nitro did if not better.You will need to crank up all of the settings except neutral state, set that to 6%.Hopefully it's durable, time will tell. So far so good. Lots of performance here at this price point. It put a smile on my face 😁

Wouldn’t really recommend unless your on a budget or using on a project spare rc truck or car came about 1.5 weeks late witch wasn’t a issue the 2 issues I had with it was the fan didn’t work off the bat the fan was only held in by glue and 1 screw the rest weren’t there but broke off in the esc second was the motor started squeaking on its second run witch should running stock gearing in a slash and on 2s lipo then last thing is customer service was great besides when I asked for a tracking number for the replacement to inspect when it would be here to let them know when I get the items no response for about 3/4 days then I received a email saying I will get a refund for it

Works upon install. 979b and 144001. Program card works. Do not by the cheap orange heat sink ones with the orange motor housing. These escs are built much better with a more powerful fan. Only run these on 2s not 3s. You'll want to spend alot more money to run 3s.

The esc/motor combo works well and ive had no issues yet. But the reason for the 3 start is because the programming card didnt work. Everything is at default still. Could be the esc or card but im not to sure which one it is thats faulty. Overall good motor and esc but unsure of card

This brushless came to my house with out the programming card. Great shipping tho!

Ran it for 2 days on a 6cell nimh in a crawler and the esc blew a mosfet/killed itself on the second day.

Item wasn't powerful enough for the application I was using it for.
