Gelcoat Filler - TEROSON180ML

This stuff is brilliant, and just what I was wanting to fill cracks in my caravan shower tray. I fiberglassed the tray first for strength, then put this on the top to match the white finish. I would say the finish is fairly white. It is impossible to put on smoothe, it tends to drag, so a LOT of sanding is required to get a good finish, which would be easier on the outside of a curve than the inside, so mine ended up 'textured', but still looks good, and has had one season of use as a shower with no sign of problems. Saved me replacing the tray. Gently sand down the area with wet or dry paper, and clean well (methylated spirit is good to degrease) before you apply it. Very pleased with end result.

After recently replacing our bathroom, we were horrified to find a very small chip in the bath... after the initial shock, we searched for a GOOD repair kit... after reading reviews on several different types, we went for this Gelcoat filler, it came very quickly and we used it as directed... watch out 'cause it dries pretty swiftly especially on a small shallow chip... we are delighted with the results and so far so good. OK, its a bit whiter than the bath but it's done the job, so who cares!! Would recommend...

Does exactly what all the other 5 star reviews say, yes it dry's brilliant white and your bath isn't, What happened in my case was I dropped a tile and it chipped the bath, rather than go back and remove the bath again and get another I tried this. I put a small quantity on a plastic board and I took a pencil and sandpapered some lead into a small pile, I slowly added the lead to my mix to try and get the colour as close as possible then added a small amount of hardener, remember small and then added to the chip. Note: with the chip I tapered the edges, I used a dremel tool to go round the edges so it would be easier to blend in, then cleaned the area with nail varnish remover. When you add this to the chip it is almost a thickish liquid form and settles in the hole quite well, I banged around the chip to ensure there were no air bubbles and let it go off, left for 24hrs but was going off after 1 hour and hard to the touch. Used wet and dry paper as others have said and blended in very well, finished off with a car polisher, It's not invisible we know it's there but it doesn't catch your eye at all.

I ordered this to attempt a spider crack repair to both rear upper corners on a relatives caravan.Based on previous reviews we thought it was worth a try as they had been quoted £400-£500 by a caravan repair man.It is worth noting the filler does not come in a tube as advertised but in a tin with small tube of hardener.I first used a Dremel to widen the cracks then cleaned with pre-paint.The filler was mixed, applied with a flexible spatula then left to dry.The outside temp was around 11deg but the sun was shining onto the caravan so the filler was dry after approx 30mins.I used 3 grades of wet and dry paper in sequence to remove the excess filler 600, 1200 and 2000 grit.Although the colour is not an exact match the repair cannot be seen from floor level and we are confident it will not allow water to leak inWe are happy with the repair and wouldn't hesitate to use again in areas out of sight or where could be overpainted.

What I received is nothing like the photo on the advert. I used to like this product when it came in 2 tubes, as it was much easier to get the quantities right for mixing. I have tried to complete the returns process, but the only return option I was given requires a printer which I don't have, I don't have the option to just take it to the Amazon shop like normal. Considering that the only reason I am returning this is because it was completely inaccurately described I don't see why I should be inconvenienced. Avoid.

Bought this to repair some chips in my boat , easy to use , easy to apply and sand with wet and dry to a great finish . Loads in the tin , picture is a tube but I relieved a tin .
