Use as a topper, not by itself.
I did try to fill a pan with just this litter and the stench was horrible. The ammonia from the urine seemed to increase and it became like mud when I tried to scrape it. So why 5 stars? Ever clean the cat boxes before company comes over, and just when folks start arriving - the cat takes a dump that would intimidate the dog? Pour this on top. INSTANTLY GONE. So whenever I clean the cat boxes; if I'm expecting guests, I will add a cup of this on top of the Tidy Cat. PERFECTION. It really kills the odors from anything the cat does afterwards. Buy this and keep it as a back up and as a freshener.

Best litter I've ever used!!
This is the best litter I've ever used. Its wood for one so there is no dust.. the wood really takes the cat pee smell away.. it is pretty cheap as well. For a good name brand that actually works. Anyone with a cat or a few lol.. should most definitely try this litter. You won't be disappointed.

This smells the best of all the actually useful Natural litter products so far. I selected this because of the Arm & Hammer benefit, as well as clumping. Urine can hardly be smelt, even standing next to the used box. If my cat would ever cover his human turds, I'm sure the same could be said of those. As it stands, it still does a great job eliminating that odor as well, and sifting it is so much easier than with the pellet type litter. It dusts a little, but it is so much less than clay, and the overall pros of this litter keep it ranked high above all non-natural litter. I have this on Subscribe & Save, now.

Good Substitute
I used to purchase a different corn litter from Walmart. Since it was discontinued I had to find a different litter. The closest one I found was Arm and Hammer Naturals. It has a pleasant scent and yes, while it doesn't clump as hard as regular clay litters, I appreciate it because I flush it down the toilet, leaving my home clean smelling. My cats like it too. I will often find them just playing in it. Since I am so fastidious about a clean litterbox, I am ok with them playing in it. BTW, I have 6 cats and I have had people walk into my home and tell me had they not seen a cat they not seen a cat, they would never have known I had a cat never mind multiples! I attribute that to a clean litterbox and a good litter. So, would I recommend this product? Yes I would. I only gave it 4 stars because of price. The other litter I was buying from Walmart was cheaper by a few dollars.

Buy this litter!
This is hands down the BEST litter I have ever used! My cats took to it extremely well and didn’t track it all over the house. It smells like freshly chopped wood, even after being used for a month! 10/10 recommend

Light weight but clumps nicely.
If you're concerned that this litter won't clump like the clay litter, you'll be pleasantly surprised. The clumps probably aren't as hard but they are still easy to scoop. Our cats have used this since they were kittens and we've never had issues. Cats typically don't like scented litter and the scent of this litter is NOT strong.

but I think this litter does its best to keep up
I have ordered this three times now, and it is officially the litter we use in the house. Neither of our cats cover their poop, so it definitely is a bit smelly anyways, but I think this litter does its best to keep up. Obviously, the best draw to this litter is it is corn based, so as long as your cats don't mind the feel of the litter and will use it (one of our fosters did not), it is a bit safer for the cats if they ingest it from grooming themselves after using it. And lastly, one of our cats has a dust//scent allergy, and this litter is lightly scented and I have found all of the times we have used it to be DUST. FREE. there is no dust. I repeat, no dust. I would buy this a million more times just for that reason, I hate litter dust. If your cats end up not liking this kind of litter, a more traditional litter that I have also found to be good with cats with allergies is the Arm and Hammer Clump and Seal http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00S82T0NK?redirect=true&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_59

Love this litter
Love this litter. I'm allergic to the dust that comes with clay litters and this has been the best natural alternative that I've found. It is a bit perfume-y, but my cats don't seem to mind, and it makes cleaning their boxes a bit more pleasant. This natural litter ACTUALLY clumps. I've tried other brands that claim that they do, but this one clumps and the urine actually dries out for easier scooping. My cats prefer this brand now. I bought Tidy Cats natural litter (what I used to use) a month or so ago as I had forgotten to order, and my cats refused to use it...
