Product Description Whether the need is for fresh lemons and limes for margaritas or fresh raspberry juice for a refreshing juice smoothie the OJex Juicer is equipt to handle all of your juicing needs. OrangeX, recipient of a gold in Business Week and the 2000 Industrial Design Excellence Award for their OJex juicer design have a winner for you. Made from cast iron and 18/10 stainless steel this item is as durable as it is functional. The rubberized feet will allow for greater stability and the small stylish nature of this juicer will fit perfectly in any kitchen. Also comes with an additional fruit attachment for juicing grapes, berries, apple, pineapples and other soft fruits. .com Simple to operate and easy to clean, this mechanical device quickly and easily presses juice from all citrus fruits. It's made of enameled iron so it's heavy and stable and has suction feet for further insurance against sliding during use. A three-step process--lifting the handle, placing half a fruit on the conical strainer, pulling the lever--is all that's needed to produce a flow of juice into a container on the cup rest beneath the juicer's head. The strainer and basket are made of 18/10 stainless steel. Like the plastic cup rest and the cone that presses against the top of a fruit, the strainer and basket remove with a twist and are dishwasher-safe. The housing wipes clean with a damp cloth. Shapely and compact, the juicer measures 10 inches high, 8 inches wide (including the handle with its rubber grip), and 11 inches deep (including the handle). It carries a lifetime warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

Best Juicer ever made!
Bought this for my Sister in Law in Florida, well over 10 years ago, she still uses it nearly every day!

Broke twice
This juicer worked amazing, for all of 20 minutes before it broke. Sent it back to Amazon and replaced for a new one, which broke within the first 10 minutes. While it looks sturdy, there are flaws in the metal and it's very fragile. Breaking once, okay.. but twice before even 30 minutes of use is unacceptable. This item should be discontinued immediately.

Can't make it juice properly
While it's very sturdy and low counter profile, the oranges seem to split from the force of the top, needing to be hand finished to juice the pulp. Maybe I've assembled it wrong, but there was no parts installation included

Good But Not Perfect Juicer
Not only do I own this juicer, but for four years, I sold it, so I feel quite qualified to write this review. For a small, manual juicer, this is a heavy item (cast iron). It's very easy to clean; anyone who disagrees has obviously never used an electric juicer with sharp, complex or electric moving parts (this juicer has none of those things). It's a simple machine with only three removable pieces: the strainer, the juice funnel and the hard resin base that the juice receptacle (your glass) sits on. It does have suction cups that hold it in place, but it definitely sticks better to some surfaces than others (sticks best to granite or manufactured quartz, pretty well on laminate, not so well on wood countertops). The lever operates easily, and once you have the handle pressed completely down--it's not much of a struggle--it will extract juice to the point of the fruit being almost wrung dry. It works on citrus fruits as small as key limes and as large as grapefruits.Worth noting: when pressing down on the extraction handle, I always put my other hand on top of the juicer, for stability, just in case (I have formica countertops). Also, you can't use a really tall glass; there's about a 6 inch clearance between the base and the spout. Overall, I enjoy this juicer and use it more often than my Breville Extractor, which, while fabulous, is a hateful machine to clean.

Frozen handle....off centre handle, lots of pressure required....still love it.
Yes, I have had it tip, so I balance with my left hand on top. Yes, it requires a ton of pressure so I take a half orange and 4 score it to flatten out. And finally the handle froze shut. I went to a store to maybe buy a new one and she said the pole was frozen shut with orange juice and run dish soap down there and lots of hot water. It worked so I am back in business. It looks way better than it works, but it still works, with no motors to deal with. And if you are juicing for only one or two people, I still love it.

simple to use
This is my second Juicer. This one is being used by employees at my company. Oranges/grapefruits are given to us and nothing goes to waste.

Don't waste the money!
The product worked OK for about 2 months, although it was rather small so a large orange would have to be cut in half. After two months to thing completely fell apart, I'm talking the bolts inside of it totally snapped with an orange stuck in it. Would not recommend to anyone.

Good Quality Will Last Forever
If you enjoy freeze squeezed juice this manual juicer works very well and requires minimal clean up. Very heavy so doesn't slide around on the counter.
