CCRC EXAM QUESTION BANK: ACRP CERTIFICATION

This was helpful to me to prepare for the ACRP exam. I passed on my first attempt. I practiced on the questions for ICH Guidelines and used these to direct me to areas I needed to focus on. It's difficult to find practice exams and this book was comprehensive for my exam.

This book (CCRC Question Bank) is extremely helpful in preparing for the ACRP certification exam and is widely used by research coordinators in our institution. Because the book is divided into knowledge based study chapters it is a good resource to assess relative comprehension of the different sections so that you can concentrate on those topics where you are less confident of the material. The table of contents also rates the relative importance for the exam of the different topics so that you can apportion the time of study appropriately. The sequence of topics matches the ACRP recommended course sequence closely and the difficulty of the questions matches that in the actual exam. Particularly important are the sections on ICH GCP and CRC situational analysis – a section which is important to the exam for which no good regulatory or teaching material is available. The book provides answers to the questions which are sufficient in most instances. The CCRC Exam Study Guide, the companion volume to this book, provides supporting didactic material which further elaborates on the answers.

Great resource - terrible grammar and errors in the questions written.... the book does a great job asking questions of various topics for a CCRA / CRC exam, but throughout it is riddled with bad formatting and grammatical errors (which at first, I started questioning the integrity of the book... but found no false answers to the questions.)

Save yourself and your money. This book is terrible and I wish I saw a review on it before I purchased. I don’t know who wrote this but someone who may not know proper English and definitely don’t know how to ask questions for the CRC exam. Didn’t help me one bit. Just made me super angry and frustrated at how stupid this questions are. On the hunt now for something else that can help me before my test!

The book is a little helpful except for typo errors as I have read in the previous reviews before purchased.

I usually read reviews and man I wish I had read a review of this! There are so many typos and incenses of misuse of the English language it is difficult to read and understand! I should have just bought the one from ACRP. What a waste of money. Up to page 26, there are 53 errors...typographical as far as spelling, formatting, or grammatical. Why is this important? Because when you are studying for a test, you do not want to be taking your focus away from the question to try to figure out what is being said. It's unacceptable.

Take it from someone who took the ACRP CCRC about six hours ago. Don't waste your money! Instead, spend your money on the ACRP practice test! This book of questions, as well as the optional accompanying study guide really go overboard with information you don't need to know for the test. ACRP clearly states the test is over specified ICH guidelines and the Declaration of Helsinki! They aren't lying, that is all that is on the test. Although these two resources provide information that is relevant to being a good CRC in the United States its overkill for the exam! P.S. if “all of the above” is the answer 100% of the time it is offered, these questions are useless!!

I bought this book to help me prep for the ACRP CCRC exam. The book is clearly not edited. There are so many typos, grammar mistakes, formatting issues, and sentences being cut-off. Worst of all, some of the answers are completely wrong. Almost none of the information was on the actual exam. This was a complete waste of time and money.
