Nice design, sturdy, but as for being practical & easy to use? Not at all
I have used many different types of book darts over the years & I am always finding them inside my books, left behind after reading. The truth of the matter is that if taken care of book darts last a long time and protect you from having to “dog ear” pages to keep your place. The book darts I have most commonly used are Levenger & another brand called Book Darts that is sold here on Amazon. I purchased these because I like the cut out design, just a little different. I wish I hadn’t branched out and just had ordered my regular. The cut out design is the only plus and that adds to the attractiveness of it, but not to how well it works. In the two photos you will see a view of the front and back of 3 different book darts, Levenger, Book Darts & this brand featured here. Then next picture is the back. I’m not a fan of this particular type. As you can see the back is cut much shorter than the front & if they worked well, I wouldn’t care but they don’t. In most books that I own, and I tried several, I had some difficulty even putting these book darts into place to hold my place. The back of this page point is shorter and is very tight where it would slide onto the page. I almost tore the page I was trying to place it on every time I moved it as I read. So I stopped using this brand of page points in that book. The book has gilt edges so that might have something to do with it. This lead me to try the points in other books and there is still difficulty placing them without causing damage to the page edge. Which makes their ease of use nonexistent. The entire point of a page point should be to mark ones space and be able to move it to a new location with ease, not a major operation where you fear your going to cause a tear which was the only experience I had while using these.Just not worth it for me. I’ll try them in cheaper paperbacks I pick up, maybe they’ll loosen up and be easier to use in other books...but right now they go nowhere NEAR any of my nicer & older volumes, of which I own several.I’m disappointed in their performance and wish I’d just bought my “old reliable” Book darts I have used and trusted instead of branching out. I would not recommend these for a book lover, there’s too much of a chance they will damage the book. The design while cute, needs to be revisited, the shorter back and tight edge make it too difficult to place on a page without risking damage. If you live your books, buy a different type of book dart.

Works well
I didn’t read the description well enough and was disappointed in the small size but they work as well for a bookmark which is what I ordered them for.
