Now I have to buy another one!
This thing is THE BOMB. I installed it in under 5 minutes over my bed for hands-free reading. No more balancing my IPad on pillows or on my boyfriend...he moves around too much :) And when I fall asleep, it's out of the way and I'm not sleeping on it when I wake up in the morning! For those of you who mentioned how "tight" the movements are, take the caps off at the swivel points and you can adjust it. It tilts up and down, swivels left to right at three different points on each side, and it spins 360 degrees. You can pretty much position your tablet any way you want it. It's super sturdy and well made. I use the Defender series screen protector on my IPad (it's big and bulky but does the job it was meant to do) ... but you only have to remove the rubber part and it fits perfectly...glad I don't have to remove the plastic part. I have nothing bad to say about this except I wish I had two. The price is ridiculously low for something so great. More than satisfied.

Works fine
Easy enough to figure out, instructions on package, good price. Seems sturdy enough. I don't think I'd recommend it for something you wanted to move around a lot. The clamps to hold the device are plastic and I can imagine they'd be the first to break if you were grabbing it and pulling closer or farther multiple times a day. I'm using it for a tablet jukebox in my kitchen and won't move it. I don't think I'd buy it for a 7 inch tablet again (pictured, 7 inch kindle). It looks a little odd with the extra bracket sticking out above and below. But I knew that when I bought it. I will update if anything goes wrong with it. 5 stars because it is exactly as advertised.

Too Tight? Easy Solution!
PROS: Very easy to install, reach is great, holds tablet securely. CONS: Articulation is too tight (see below), not made for easy removal of tablet. I needed a wall mounted tablet arm for the garage. This one does the business. As with most things though, there are some caveats. The cradle that holds the tablet (in my case a cheap Android-based Insignia) is plastic and secures your tablet very well. Too well if you want to remove it from the cradle when not using the mount. Not an issue with me as my tablet stays put. The main issue is the articulating arms are very tight. But there is a fix. You'll need the following tools: -10mm socket -8mm socket -5mm Allen wrench -4mm Allen wrench -Ratchet (Do the following before installing the mount on your wall) Remove the small plastic caps that cover the hinges. Recessed into the hinges are the Allen head bolt on one side and a nut on the other. Loosen them just enough to still maintain tension. Replace caps. Done! Easy! When fully retracted the tablet is 1.5" from the wall. This is a great solution for the kitchen, bathroom, garage or any place where space is minimal.

Solid, secure mount
Bought this wall mount to allow me to watch my ipad while working out on an elliptical. Set up was easy - I was able to mount it with screws in a stud which I recommend - and fastening the ipad to the mount was simple and firm. Although others have voiced concern about how their device is fastened and I understand why that was said, I found it relatively easy to do and I have no concerns about the security of my device/ipad. Other reviewers have noted the stiffness of the hinges and they are that, but I found that stiffness comforting in that when you move your device you know it will stay in exactly the spot you placed it. If you have mounted in a stud, moving the mount from position to position is not a problem. In fact, the movement only reinforces how solid and secure the mount is. I would be concerned if the hinge movement was too loose, but not if it is stiff like this is.

Sturdy and easy to install - love it!
My bed is right against a wall, so I installed this on the wall next to my bed for nighttime reading. At first, I drilled thru the drywall and used plastic drywall anchors to put the screws in. This was not strong enough and it came loose immediately. I found a nearby stud and moved the mount so that I could screw directly into the stud. Now it is like a rock and I have been using it for several months. I like how you can adjust the screen tilt in all directions. Now the only time I have to raise my arm is to turn the page!

Easy to mount but the tablet rail is all plastic :(
The mount base is aluminum and is very sturdy. it was easy to install and is very stable however the part that holds the tablet and rotates (rail) is all plastic. I was disappointed at this, I have several other security tablet mounts by Abovetek which are all very strong steel. Grant it this mount is not a security mount so anyone can walk up to the tablet, unscrew the back plate and walk off with the tablet. Keep this in mind when considering this mount and where you will install it. The cost is signficantley less than an all steel security mount but you will have those tradeoffs. For my purposes this mount works well. I am using it to mount the tablet I use to monitor my Solar charging installation in my shed. The ability to move the tablet out of the way so I can work on the charge controller and other components behind it is essential. The ability to rotate the table is also helpful as certain apps do not display correctly while in landscape mode.

Leaf Antenna Stand -- different usage Great Implementation
I'm not a tablet user, but I have a flat "leaf" antenna (10-1/8" x 10-7/8" x .75") that I need at a specific angle in order to pick up the optimal collection of Over-The-Air stations. This is great for the antenna except that the antenna is a wee bit too thick for the clips (can thicker clips be had, it looks like it's trivial to replace?) but I can improvise. Mounting was easy. This is mounted to the rear of a bookcase cubby (1/4" plywood) by two screws. Although plastic drywall mollies are included, for the two mounting screws, I used metal butterfly drywall anchors to attach to the thin plywood and it is sturdy as it could be going into a stud. Mounted, there is great flexibility in movement horizontally and with vertical angle. Rotation is firm, not as sticy as the main hinges, about the same level of "stickiness" as the vertical hinge. Easy to move but a firm grip. The antenna is a bit too thick for the mount (my issue, although with a different clamp there is a great opportunity for added functionality) but the clips are flexibly arrange and easy to move with screw clamps once it's positioned where you want them. It is true that the hinges are tight, but for my application especially, this is a good thing as I can aim the antenna and it will not move even if lightly jostled in the back of the bookcase cubby.

Excellent tablet holder, but does need some extra work before hanging
The plastic fixture to hold the tablet is very secure and can easily be rotated horizontally or vertically. The swivel arm is very stiff so I did need to spend a good amount of time loosening the fixtures to enable me to use it without ripping the screws out of the wall. The swivel arm is coated or painted and it does leave gray scuff marks just by putting it flush against the wall. The dry wall screws provided were not strong enough so I did end up using my own. Overall very happy with this tablet wall mount.
