XXX Skull Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce

This is one of my favorite hot sauces , I think it is the 3rd time I have purchased. Ghost pepper is my favorite pepper as far as taste and this sauce delivers. 4 of the top 5 ingredients are peppers. Really enjoy it. The wax on the top of the bottle is super annoying to get off but once you do, you have a great sauce. Flavor 9/10 Heat 9/10

The only reason I did not give this five stars is because it made me and my coworkers sick (i.e. intestinal issues, the craps, heart burn, etc.). It was excellent taste and definitely hot. I recently took some Carolina Reaper sauce to work and we all agreed that this rivals the Reaper. I would recommend this to anyone who can stand hot stuff, but not to anyone who has not tried easier sauces like jalapeño or ghost pepper. Do not eat too much because it will mess you up. Also do not take anything like this to work if you work with people who are willing to take each other's dares. But anyway it was good over all. It starts out with a good smoky flavor immediately followed by long lasting and strong heat. I would recommend it to eat with food and definitely follow the serving size. But if you choose to eat it plain like us make sure there's water, milk, and ice at hand.

It's somewhere between quite hot and novelty hot. A little goes a long way. The wax toppers are a pain in the butt but worth the effort.

Best hot sauce I've had so far. It's very hot, so don't underestimate it. The bottle opening needs to be smaller because just a drop will suffice. The smoky flavor is delicious. It will be a regular item at my household.

I always had the hardest time finding my husband the perfect hot hot sauce, until now! This stuff is the best!

I love spicy foods so I thought I'd give this a try. It's a little sweeter than I'd like but decent flavor. I decided to try some right after work on a cracker. It's my way of really getting a good taste of the sauce itself. It was runnier than I thought and I poured way more than I intended. I shrugged and sent it down the hatch. Ghost pepper doesn't hit you up front very hard but builds gradually. It got really hot and stayed there for about 15 minutes. It was hot but I eat so many spicey things I dealt with it ok. However I didn't realize it had capsaicin extracts in it. Every time I eat those I get bad intestinal cramping. I'm glad I did it after work because if I'd done it at lunch or something I'd have to of signed off. I had bad cramping and gastrointestinal distress for several hours. I also had a couple of heart palpations at the beginning as well. I thought about throwing it out but I think I'll use it in smaller doses mixed with other milder sauces to bring their heat up.
