Q: Does it split into two parts?

It opens up flat so the 2 sides are separate but it doesn't split. Each side is still attached to the other when it is flat.

Q: Can this go in the dishwasher?

I have put it in the dishwasher and it was ok but it’s easy to just rinse under hot water and drain

Q: Does it work on an electric hob?

I would imagine it would. It works fine on my gas hob.

Q: Can it be used on an induction hob

Return arranged today because it definitely does NOT work on an induction hob. Contains no ferrous components. Misleading description. And it's cheaper to buy an electric one from Tower anyway.
