Prepac Queen Select 4-Post Platform Bed with 2 Drawers, Espresso

well i was happy to recieve before thanksgiving , i wasn't happy to find not all the hardware in the boxes. Of course i was mad as but i ran to home depot to try to find something that would work. it was such a hassle. putting it together isn't that hard just time consuming. if you only buy with 2 drawers remember there will be a hole on other side. no fill ins. i hit my knee on the end posts so be aware. Overall it was a bad expeirence but i called and they shipped out hardware . if you are in USA they are in Canada. I tried to overnight hardware but they do not do that. I have to wait a week for the wheels for the drawers etc .After getting it all together ,I would say it is nice.I hope they check on who is packing the hardware and they do better. Really puts you off !!!!

I've had this bed for a year and a half. It started out really good, it took a day to assemble and from there it was quiet and comfortable. However after about a year we started having problems. The corner post got worn out, the wood busted and now the bed shifts when you get in. This causes the slats holding the mattress to fall down and make the mattress give out. This has become a daily occurrence. It can be fixed by reinforcing with screws but for the money spent I wanted a bed frame that would last

Exactly what I was looking for! It has really deep & spacious drawers. They're alittle hard to pull out, but they're very well hidden. Almost as if they're not there! It was pretty easy to assemble. You just need another willing person and voila! You have yourself a sturdy bed.

Only giving this 4 stars because one of the posts that supports the bed was NOT drilled on one side. Luckily I know my way around a drill and had access to some tools and was able to make and drill my own holes to finish the assembly of my bed frame. I looked over all the pieces very carefully and tripled checked to make sure that I hadn't skipped over it but I was correct in discovering that the piece must had not went through a QC before being packaged. I would feel bad for someone that doesn't have access to the tools or knowledge that I have. They would have to contact Prepac, go through the whole ordeal of getting a new piece sent and waiting for it to arrive to finish their bed frame. Please Prepac, double check the pieces before sending them out!

I was a little worried about buying because of a few negative reviews, but after a week of using my bed, I’m very pleased. It’s very sturdy. The assembly took a while but it was very worth it

I loved how thick and sturdy the wood isIt’s really heavy not cheapHowever I would have liked the drawers to be attached to the actual bed frameInstead they just slide under the bedThat’s was the only down fallIf I would have known the drawers weren’t attached I wouldn’t have gotten itBut other than that I do like how it came out

Cute bed and easy to follow directions but I was sent the wrong pieces. I would have had to send back the whole thing just to get a different leg. I ended up just drilling the holes and fixing it myself but was a fail.

Shipped quickly and arrived several days sooner than expected in 3 boxes. Assembly took about 3 hours with two people involved: one primarily reading and directing the assembly process but also with hands on, and one primarily assembling. It came together nicely and is very stable. With my double-thick pillow-top mattress, I am sleeping well on this bed. No box-spring required! It is also quite high, which I like, making it easy for me (a big guy) to get out of bed. in the morning. This bed has two large drawers, as expected. I assumed that I would receive a wood finish panel to fill in the spaces where there are no drawers, but that is not the case. As such, there are are 2 large gaps underneath which looks weird and allows for dust to gather underneath. Had I known this, I would have ordered a bed with 4 drawers, even though I don't need them, just to make it look complete. That is my only complaint. I will contact the manufacturer to see if I can order 2 more matching drawers separately. Otherwise, I can defintely recommend this platform bed in terms of quality and practicality at a budget price, at a time when I am having to be budget-conscious.

The drawers are large and convenient. I put 2 drawers on the same side works perfectly

The side board cracked down the middle after I sat down at the edge of the bed (For the record I'm 6' tall just shy of 200lbs, and have owned the bed for less than 3 years).

received 3 boxes, fairly easy to assemble, few panels had scratches on them ,overhaul great unit with lower drawers.
