I love the bronze colour , the chain slides nicely , unfortunately I measured wrong and it was too long and slides too far down his neck. Dobermans have slender necks and he’s already 94 pounds but his neck won’t get bigger , so for training it won’t work . So, has to be returned . I did get a shorter one and it’s perfect. So much better than the pet store stainless kind that don’t slide smoothly.

Absolutely excellent product. I had a smaller Herm Sprenger collar in silver that my dog outgrew. I absolutely LOVE the black. Sizing is accurate and the small links not only look great (like a dog necklace), but function much better than large links that tend to "bind" or catch. The small link allows the trainer much better control with ease of pressure application and immediate release.

I have a white bull terrier and have tried every Herm Sprenger metal collar, even the black coated metal and they have all left a black worn metal ring around my white dog with in a days time. Also the black coating has warn off on the black in less than a month.

Lovely collar, very strong and durable but attractive as well. The 2.5 thickness light but not too light—very pleased with both performance and appearance.

Put on dog and he pulled and the ring came apart and dog was off and running
