These two lights are exceptional! When it comes to quality and style, Hinkley cannot be beat. Pure quality and style ! They are beautiful. We couldn’t be happier. We would highly recommend Hinkley for an excellent positive experience.

I like the way this looks by the front door and love the seeded glass in it. But the cage structure (both inner and outer) are made of plastic. This light gets some sun exposure in mid-day, so we will see how long this lasts. Installation was super easy, although the directions were in four different pieces with no linkage between them (where to start, what comes next, etc.).

We just purchased an additional two of these for our back porch after installing two in the front earlier this year. Very pleased with them.

The design of this light, Hinkley Republic collection small wall mount lantern in satin nickel (1000SI), drew me in. It is unique and slightly modern, but can blend with various house facades. It is cheaply made though. The body is plastic that’s been painted silver. The first one I received was sent back because the plastic edges were jagged and uneven. The second one was better but not as perfectly smooth as I would expect at this price point. Also, be aware it does not come with a bulb. The packaging was sufficient to prevent damage, with the unit housed in a styrofoam “box”. It had to be disassembled for installation, which was easy but I was concerned about the screwdriver removing the silver paint on the screw heads. The instructions are in English, French, and Spanish, and easy to follow. There’s two screws needed to attach the backplate to the wall which are not included. Overall, I would suggest not paying $150 for this item.

I discovered this fixture on Amazon but purchased it locally several months ago. It has turned out to be one of the best purchases I have made so I wanted to leave a review here.I needed to replace two seriously rusted out outdoor light fixtures at an oceanside cottage in the mid-Atlantic - meaning the fixtures are exposed to harsh salt water, high winds, heavy rains and several snowstorms each year.To begin, these assemble and install very easily. Anyone with basic electrical skills can manage it, The fixtures are constructed of a composite material that is substantial and not at all cheap or plastic looking, which was my concern. Seeded glass panels surround the light bulb, which is the standard size base and can be changed easily from below.Installing these fixtures really upgraded the exterior of my home while also being practical for the harsh weather conditions.If you need a quality outdoor light fixture that is made to withstand severe weather, this is one to consider.

As others have noted, it feels very plasticky and cheap, it’s super lightweight, definitely not heavy duty metal construction. The price point is way too high for the seemingly low quality of the fixture. I do like the style however, it looks great.

The look is very nice but I don’t think its worth 250$ the description states stainless steel and the entire frame is plastic
