IV Pole, Floor Stand, 2-Hook, Three Leg, 30007 - Sold by Pack of One

My one cat has feline kidney disease, and requires regular administration of sub-q fluids via IV. Definitely not a fun experience, but eventually, I got the hang of it, and figured out how to make it easier on both of us. The stress level of having to do this has significantly decreased from extreme stress and anxiety down to the level of having to do my laundry. It's now at the level of a frog on my to-do list that needs to be eaten. Not fun, but it's much easier than it used to be. This collapsible IV pole has been pretty amazing. It's roughly the same size as a small collapsible tripod, and very lightweight. The height adjusts by twisting the upper pole and extending it. It's surprisingly sturdy, but I brace it between my loveseat and a shoe basket, just in case my feline decides to suddenly take flight while still connected to the IV bag (it happens, but fortunately not very often). I ordered this because when I saw it, it looked like EXACTLY what I needed to make it easier to administer fluids in a variety of locations. Normally, I hang the drip bag from a closet door near the bed, but sometimes the perfect moment comes while I'm sitting watching TV and he's sleeping on the couch next to me. Having this IV stand available has been very helpful!

This has changed everything. We were hanging the fluid bags for my cat on the door hinge. It was way too high and limited where we could give fluids and limited our ability to view the fluids bags. This has made it all so much easier to hang the fluid bags and to view the amount given. The fluids are flowing better as well. The highest height can go from about 2 feet to over 5 feet, and each of the three tiers locks at any height to truly customize and meet any needs. It is sturdy, but very lightweight and could easily fit in a medium sized suitcase for travel if needed. I'm so happy I purchased this.

It serves the purpose, barely. I brought this IV pole to travel with my kangaroo pump for a feeding tube. At first glance I was a lil worried that it wouldn't be sturdy enough to hold a pump and the full IV feeding bag. It's very top heavy doesnt take much to send it tumbling. Ur not going to be doing a lot of moving around once ur hooked up. Fits diagonally at the bottom of my checked bags 24" & up. Too big for a carry-on. Also the rubber cushions at the bottom of the stand keep falling off whenever u move around. So be mindful of them. Nothing worse than fighting with a wobbly unstable stand.

I have it set up in a walk-in closet for giving my kitty fluids. It works well, although when I'm on the floor it can be a bit hard to see the lines on the bag. Wasn't stable when I just had it beside the couch. I've had it for over a year now and it is still in good shape.

I returned this because it didn't work for me. Sure, it was lightweight and compact and great for travel but it didn't appear to be sturdy enough to hold a full IV bag and also didn't extend tall enough to use at any height other than lying on a floor.

Easy to open and close, makes transporting it in a duffle bag easy with all of my other supplies! Quick delivery. Would order again.
