I received my oatmeal quilt on the first night the temps dropped for the Fall weather. What a beauty! The oatmeal is a pretty heavy quilt and since I left the heat pretty low over night, I was so grateful to wake up and be so cozy warm. I love the weight of this quilt and the look and workmanship is beautiful. I had it over a light summerlike duvet and top sheet and it was perfect! Recommend!

I treated myself to one of these blankets in size king, even though I have a queen bed. My thought process was, to make it look more like a bedspread -- it worked beautifully! I thought that this was a little extravagant at first, but when I think about the all of the money I have spent on bedding over the years; I cringe! I will never tire of this blanket. It is exactly what I have been in search of: casual elegance. I live in Maryland where the weather changes from temped to cold or hot in a short period of time. This blanket is perfect for this situation. As my mood dictates, I switch things up with various throws or blankets folded at the base of my bed in coordinating colors. I purchased the matching quilted pillow covers for a complete look. I now consider this a family heirloom, especially since my daughters are fighting over it. I ordered to Canada from Amazon.ca. Jason made a red Queen coverlet for us with blue stitching and its a work of art! It's heavy, warm and cuddly. The workmanship is solid. High quality linen fabric as well. We'll absolutely be saving up for more coverlets. Perfect for an addition to bedding in winter (and for crawling under for naps) and as the only bedcover with a linen sheet for summer.
