Perfect match to mount a bipod
Well built and really easy install. I added my bipod to it and it’s holding up perfectly

Quick and easy install and fits tight and solid.
I recently picked up a Savage Arms AXIS II Precision XP in .308 and a Caldwell XLA bipod for it. The Savage has no sling mount for the bi-pod to attach to so I needed this sling stud. It easily attached to the m-lok fore end allowing me to attach the bi-pod. I dabbed a little blue on the screws threads first of course. The rounded stud with the flat sides ensures the fit is tight and solid so the bi-pod has no loose wiggle at all. (Except for the pivot points the bi-pod is designed to have.) The extra set of screws and t-nuts was a godsend. During the install process I loosened one of the t-nuts a little too much. It dropped off down to the floor and skittered off to the 5th dimension. I’ve yet to find it, but thanks to the extras, no worries. I’ll likely never need one of these sling studs again, but if I do, this will be the one I buy.

Works well
Do to my own incompetence i bought this for a hand gaurd that did not fully support it. In order to mount it I had to grind down a couple of the tabs on the back side before it would fit. That being said if your platform supports mlock you should not have a problem with installation. Being as affordable as it is i felt safe modifing it. After install, it fit tight and had no play. Built completely of metal gave me the reassurance that it would hold tight. After approximately 100 rounds i checked and the mount was still tight. Was purchased for mounting a bipod. Over all light weight and stable to use . Would certainly purchase again!
