It says ultimate and absolute but honestly its a waste of your time
This book is very comprehensive if you have the time to go through all of the sub chapters and answer all the questions. It says ultimate and absolute but honestly its a waste of your time. You bought this for the answers not the walk through on how to read your textbook. Honestly, don't buy this if you think your going to get much time saved from reading textbook because the review sections for each chapter are small and brief they don't cover important aspects that you would want (its in the actual textbook so go figure). If you want the answers and a walk through of them then you are in luck. They are perfect and well illustrated step by step, but be prepared because they are all the way in the back of the book. You will notice that 3/4 of the book is all little assignments like crossword puzzles and fill in the blanks (what is this the first grade?) Nowhere does it give helpful mnemonics or tips on memorizing the Glycolysis, Krebs, Pyruvate Dehydrogenase complex, or photosynthesis. So if you want to study for your metabolics class tread lightly with this book because you just might end up spending more than you bargained for because all it gives is answers and alot of work on top of your class you wish you didn't have to go through.

Good and Bad
Ok so I have the textbook to go along with this, and I thought that it would really help me out. I like this added book, but it takes up too much time. It does have some good questions in the book that will help you study, but I don't think there were enough good questions to really make it worth the money to buy. If you're looking for an awesome study guide, this book isn't it. They do a good job of breaking down the chapters and make you go back and look for stuff you missed, but it takes too much time to look up each answer because there are a lot of them. Only half of the questions they ask have answers you can look up in the book. So really only half the questions they ask are good study questions because you're able to quickly look up the answers in this book.

Okay I guess
A few extra explanations for some of the practice problems in the textbook, though it is organized in a very confusing way. I'm glad I only paid a small fraction for a used copy, since the quality would not justify the full retail price. Save your money and ask your professor or TA if you're confused.

a great help.
This helped me so much in my Biochemistry courses. There are so many different study methods within the manual, such as practice problems (with answers), vocab, summaries, etc., that I was able to use it for many different aspects in my courses. I must have in my opinion. I was even able to use parts of this in my immunology and physics courses.
