Iconic London Day To Slay Eyeshadow Palette, 1.5 g

I usually buy cheap drugstore makeup which tends to fade quite quickly. My daughter who spends a small fortune on makeup advised me to try something more expensive that might last longer.So I decided to try this pallette, the shades are lovely, natural, earthy tones that are perfect for me, nicely presented in a more luxurious box than the ones I'm used to.But does it last any longer? In all honesty, I can't say that it does. I'm no expert in cosmetics but I can't really find any benefit in this £50 pallette over the £5 one I would usually buy, so while it's very nice I certainly couldn't justify spending that amount again for no obvious benefit.

This is a really lovely eyeshadow set, very glamorous and worth the price! It's quite large, be warned, it's not something you'd carry around in a purse or clutch! It comes with a mirror in the lid, and it's a decent size, which partly explains how large this kit is. The shades are a beautiful shimmery mix of pinks, golds and browns, so very good for building up and creating a fab smokey look! The pigment is good, so you don't need much to get good coverage and it sticks too, so no clumping and it lasts through the day (or night).

Where to start!This eye shadow palette is a beginners dream. The luxe gold chunky packaging is easy to hold and comes with a great sized mirror.The palette boasts a whole 20 shades of nude colours. The shades are highly pigmented, creamy and easy to blend.The palette is perfect for any occasion ranging from a daytime work look or a dramatic evening look. The eyeshadow lasts and doesn't fade or become creased.The only complaint I have is the lack of range in the matte shades by eliminating a shimmer shade and replacing it with a more orange toned brown matte shade would make this palette a 10/10 go to.

Palette with mirror lid featuring 20 shades of natural tones (browns, beige, pinks and shimmers). The colours are really nice and very well pigmented. I especially like the shimmer colours which look great for a night out. This palette works great for any event, with shades perfect for day wear to something more glam.The eyeshadow applies easily and evenly and is highly pigmented.Overall a really nice palette

This is probably the most impressive eyeshadow palette I've ever tried. The pictures on the site didn't prepare me for the size of it - it's not something you can slip in your handbag, it's definitely one for the dressing table, measuring 17cm square with 20 different shades. See my photo (with apple for size comparison).The box has a large mirror set into its lid, which is very useful for up-close application. The palette I have is based around bronze, gold, brown, peach and pink shades - perfect for using alone or for blending together to create a more nuanced result. Some of the shades are matte, some have a subtle shimmer and some an all-out glittery effect ideal for special occasions. The shades are all highly pigmented, which means you don't need much to create an effect, and they are easy to apply with a finger or a make-up brush. I've been experimenting with the different shades throughout the Christmas holiday and found them long-lasting and resistant to creasing or fading.Many colour palettes are of limited usefulness - you find you use 3 or 4 shades all the time and the others go to waste. Not these! I have hazel eyes and light brown hair so almost every shade is useful and wearable, either as a main colour or as a highlighter. You can even use some of the pinks and peaches as blusher! I would normally pick out my favourite shades but to be honest, they are all fantastic. Maybe the combination of the matt brown "Deep Soul" and the shimmer and sparkle of "Closing Party" and "Velvet Crush" are most to my taste, but I don't think there's a shade in here I won't be using for something. A thoroughly brilliant collection if browns and golds are your thing.

A large eyeshadow palette ideal to sit on your dressing table , to give you a lovely evening sparkle to suit any occasion be it with friends or a special occasion. A Good selection of quality colours .

The cost of my whole make up bag don’t even come any where near the price tag of this item.The price tag is expensive but in this case you certainly get what you pay for I can see why people tend to have a few decent items in the make up bag instead of loads of cheaper items.It’s like having the golden ticket it’s a eyeshadow palette with 20 shades (12 are shimmery ones and 8 are matte) I love the colours that you get browns, nudes, golds and many more it comes in a snap shut box with a Mirror just a shame you don’t get any brushes included.You can use the colour for day or night, they apply lovely and they last unlike other brands I have used in the past.Never heard of the brand Iconic London but loving it I know what I will be putting in my birthday and Christmas list
