I can’t say enough how much I love this Mount. I’ve used and abused it. It holds up. I would recommend that you use Blu Locktite every 1000 rounds to maintain your zero. This is an excellent product!

it does what it says however, why? if you put this on your revolver, the rail is so high, i don't see it being useful. took 5 mins to install. easy peary. but not really practical. especially for a red dot sight. i will be replacing with a red dot plate . this should make a more useable height

This was the only option for mounting a brand new optic on my Taurus 66. It rides a little high and you might have to do some sanding to fit it in, but it works just fine.

You must read the instructions, watch a YouTube … something. It’s super easy to install but very easy to mess up if you don’t. I’ve put mine on a 44 mag. And ran about 100 rds with absolutely no problems what so ever. This thing is solid. I don’t worry about the stability of it at all.

Expensive little chunk of metal but very nicely machined and it does the job and fits well on a Raging Bull. Easy to install once you get the sight pivot pin removed. It's a small pin, less than1/16'' and fits very tight in the frame. You might want to take a 1/16" punch and grind it down a little to fit. ( and hope to heck it doesn't break). Comes with a long and short screw for installation. Wish it would handle more weight, but I installed a Burris Fastfire II ( a very light weight red dot) and the mount and sight look very good together. Very happy.

Easy to install and makes it nice for these old eyes to see thru a red dot fit the model 692 perfect don't forget the red loctite

Before installing, I had a question about removing the rear site on the pistol. My question had nothing to do with the tap mount. But when I called, the gentlemen was very helpful and assured me the tap mount would work on my Taurus Tracker 44. It took me more time to remove the pin on the original rear site than it did to install this tap mount, which went on and secured as advertised.

Perfect fit on my 44 magnum Raging bull. Extremely easy to install solid. I highly recommend this if you’re wanting to add an optic to you big bore pistol.
