Prolonged my buddy’s life
I absolutely recommend this as something to keep on hand in case of emergency. It’s really easy to make, just add to boiling water and let cool at room temperature. After it solidifies, it keeps in the fridge in Tupperware for about a week. You will be able to tell when it goes bad because it will smell awful. (Don’t forget to label “do not eat” or “bug gel”container in fridge…you never know…) The mix does tend to settle at the bottom but works fine. I used this as an alternative to crickets on more than a few occasions when my panther chameleon was sick. I had quite a few health struggles with him over the years. He was prone to eye infections and developed a growth on his tail which had to be frequently cleaned and wrapped. Due to these complications, I went through recurring periods of strictly hand feeding. This was the only thing that I could get him to eat when he was unable to hunt. This sustained him until he was able to clear his infections and strong enough to feed himself again. I believe that this product is meant to be more of a treat and not considered a stable diet, but it worked for me when I needed it! I absolutely recommend. It’s also great if you’re ever in a pinch for crickets and can’t make it to the store right away.

Saved my rescue leopard geckos life!
I had a blind rescue leopard gecko who had been off food for a long time but this product helped him regain his appetite and I would recommend it to anyone with the same problem. It works!

Top tier dragon food
My little girl is a juvenile bearded dragon who is the most pickiest eater I’ve ever seen to where she wasn’t growing as fast as she should be and a little smaller than beardies her size. I’ve tried everything. Even other gel foods. Repashy is the best. She scarfs this stuff down. I am definitely investing in all of repashy’s bearded dragon food and vitamins! Me and my beardie don’t think there’s anything better! If your dragon needs a boost or doesn’t want to eat anything give this a try!

It mixed easily and set up as a gel quickly with 2 ...
Here are my first impressions after mixing a batch and trying it out. It mixed easily and set up as a gel quickly with 2 parts water to 1 part powder. My experience with Bug Burger and Meat Pie was that they're a bit harder to successfully gel without using less water than recommended, although I lived on a different water supply when I used those, so it's possible that had something to do with it. I let the mix dry on a plate at a thickness of about 1/4 inch. After slicing into strips, I did find that it fell apart relatively easily when lifting with forceps, but it could be that I didn't allow enough time for it to set up or that a bit less water would yield a stronger gel. Most of my geckos and lacertas completely ignored it. Crested geckos ate it once from tongs, thinking I was offering insects. After the first bite, they wouldn't eat any more and would spit it back out if I tricked them a second time. Fire skinks ate it enthusiastically, but there's very little they don't like. Timon lepidus ate it as did Ptyodactylus siphonorhina and Homopholis fasciata. I left small amounts in with the species that weren't interested right off the bat, but none of my lizards ate any unless I was offering it from tongs. Overall I'm happy with the results so far since my biggest eaters (lacertas and skinks) seem to fill up on this relatively quickly when they would otherwise need over a dozen superworms in one feeding to be satisfied, so this could relieve a lot of the pressure on my feeder insect colonies. It hasn't been a hit across the board though, at least not immediately. Oddly enough my Ptyodactylus were more excited about this food than anything else, including the lacertas and skinks that typically eat almost anything.

Bean approves!
My bearded dragon Bean approves! I usually mix this with the veggie one and he goes crazy. At first he didn’t take to it. I bought some baby spoons with a soft tip and scooped it up for him and went wild for it! It not only satisfies him but keeps him hydrated!

Great for picky leopard gecko
Our leopard gecko suffered from a food impaction from eating too large of meal worms. She wouldn't eat anything live after that. We tried everything. We bought this stuff for her and she LOVES it. It smells absolutely horrendous but if she likes it, we support her. It's easy to mix with hot water and the powder. Just be prepared for the smell. Our Leo is back to lunging at her food again and comes out of her hide with gusto when it's feeding time. That's something she never did before. We free feed about 1 TBS every other day, so this will last forever.

Great for Bearded Dragon
My girl loves this. I like the ingredients in it. I can’t have live bugs for her all of the time so this is a good alternative to make sure she’s getting the protein and nutrients she needs.
