The pictures are backwards, which one should I buy to get the aerosol?

I see the same thing. I buy a lot of Minwax products but a 50-50 chance is not worth taking a chance. I will buy a different brand until they fix this, or go to a hardware.

Yes mine was backwards also. Amazon knows about this and has done nothing. I have used both of them and both are great but spray is to much. Good luck.

can this product be used on pre-finished wood floors to seal them?

I really do not know the answer to this - I would imagine that you would have to sand the floor first to present a porous surface for the sealer to adhere to first - which I doubt you would want to do. In my project I sanded doors lightly that had been stained before I applied the sealer then I applied two coats of varnish over the top.

Can you paint over it?

Assuming that the Minwax finish is not flaking or peeling,yes you can paint over it. Be sure to sand well so the paint will adhere well.
