Changing my rating
I originally rated this watch winder as 3-Star. Am changing that to 4-Star.The boxes work, they are quiet and easy to set-up.the frustration I had was trying to figure out the turns per day (TPD) I was getting. We bought two of this box to give Rolex watches in for our kids college graduations so I really needed to know the TPD was accurate. In short, the instructions do not match what the winder actually does. Specifically, the winder does not turn the watch like the instructions state it should. After multiple emails back-n-forth with the Seller, I finally took the time to calculate the TPD rate based on what the winder does and forget what the instructions state.Using the 760 TPD mode the watches will get a little more than the 600-650 TPD a Rolex needs.I was going to return the winders and buy a different brand but will not do that now. However, I would not recommend this winder and certainly would not give it as a gift because of the poorly written instructions.

Great unit at an affordable price
This is a replacement unit for a cheaper one by another company that died in a within few months of use. This unit is very attractive with a nicely finished wooden enclosure. It has several modes of operation allowing you to select the direction of movement and the number of turns per cycle and it runs on two AA batteries or by the supplied adapter. It makes no sound, has a small LED that stays lit to show the unit has power, and can easily fit any size watch (even a couple smaller ones). The price of most of these winders is ridiculous as far as I'm concerned for what they do so I opted for the cheapest my first time out. Now this new one is only marginally more than my original but appears to have 100% better craftsmanship.I noted in a previous comment that there was no manual with my unit and the company immediately e-mailed me one. No manual is really needed though as it's easy to figure out how to set the winder and it's only a small one sheet instruction that is online at the Amazon site if you look closely anyway. The fact that the company immediately responded to my statement is a testament to their integrity in my book.

Awesome purchase!
The box is super nice. It comes all shiny and gorgeous, the acrylic top is decent. It's not glass, but it's clear enough to where the watch you put inside is still in clear view. I've currently used to keep my Omega and Tissot, it's done a fine job at keeping them wound. I hadn't worn my Omega in a while, so I charged it and put it inside the box and left it running all night. I woke up and the watch was still going strong (same goes for one of the Tissot's I own). I left running all day and came home to find the watch was being wound by the machine. Overall I love this box, it's quiet, looks great and smells nice. Don't forget to check the TDP of the watches you are going to put inside! It's important, some companies use bilateral movements while others do clockwise and etc, always check to make sure. I would definitely recommend this box and I plan to get a second one in the near future.

It'll get the job done.
Good value for the money.Pro's:-Quiet-Easy TPD control-Interval rotationsCon's-Watch pillow is the worst thing ever. I can't fit my watch around this thing without putting an insane about of pressure on my strap, forget the bracelet. Very poor quality filling makes it difficult to use. Due to the unique shape, it's difficult to find a replacement cushion which can cause an issue for day-to-day use.Overall, this is still a good value if you're looking for budget-friendly winders. The motor, arguably the most important part, is great so far. The finish on the box is better than expected, clear enclosure is a bit cheap, and lining is acceptable.

Does the job and looks great...
Very nice for the price, but there may be winders with a couple missed features, such as an auto shutoff when a watch isn't in the winder and a rocker mode, back and forth to better simulate normal movement when the watch is worn. Turning in one direction for a few minutes then turning the other direction for a few minutes seems to keep the watch wound. Wife really hates when her watch needs to be reset, so it's been a blessing!

It does what it's supposed to do.
I received my Kendal in August but I waited until now to write a review because it's one of those products that you have to use for some amount of time before you can say anything valid about it. To date, it works perfectly. I would suggest the company add am on/off switch to the power source. I would prefer to put my watch on the spindle while the spindle is stationary rather than trying to hit a moving target. Other than that, I can think of no other improvements. It's good quality and a good value.

Great product, just not right for Seiko Kinetic
Watch winder is a beautiful product. It's well made and I was hopeful it would solve the problem of having to wear the watch every day. However, it doesn't work for Seiko Kinetic. The winding mechanism rotates in circles. The Seiko Kinetic needs to move back and forth. I've placed the watch every evening on the watch winder and it has lost time each night and this morning wasn't working at all. If you plan to purchase a watch winder, please research your watch to determine what movement it would require off the arm. The reason for 3 stars is that I can't determine how it would perform since the movement was incorrect for my watch.

Great look!
It looks very impressive. However, I have not figured out how to really use it effectively. What do I do when I take my watch off of it? Also, what do I do when the little cushion gets soiled.I have used it two nights and my Rolex is still on time, but used different settings, then unplugged it today since I wasn't sure what to do.Great look!
