I needed an inexpensive watch to wear around my little shop at my house where I piddle in all different things from car mechanics, glass cutting for building fish tanks, carpentry, etc etc.. I own a big Gshock and I love it. But when working on a car.... its bulky size wouldn't allow my wrist to fit places it usually would. So I set out to buy a slim, inexpensive(not cheap... inexpensive.... there is a huge differnce) but tough time piece. This one seem to fit the bill. The MDC Black Military Analog watch has been perfect for the two week almost for me. It allows my hands to get to the hard to reach places because its not a super bulky. The nylon band makes this a very comfortable but rugged watch to wear and it looks nice to. It's the perfect fit for any occasion watch... thank you MDC for making a quality watch @ an affordable price!

I was really pleased with this purchase! I was looking for a watch that was simple and durable and this watch really does the job. The strap is comfortable nylon and is reinforced to protect against the clasp which is a really nice addition. The watch face is clean and easy to read as well as scratch-resistant. The casing is really solid and waterproof. I swam with it right out of the box and it performed really well.I wanted something simple and functional and this watch really served its purpose really well. There aren't a lot of frills here, it is a straight forward timepiece with 12 and 24-hour marks as well as the red-colored second hand and an accurate and easy to read date window. It is easy to set too which makes it easy to switch time zones and I tend to do. I highly recommend as a solid everyday wear timepiece that works in every situation.

Ladies wrist shown in pics. Great watch! Very happy with the style, comfort, quality and price! The “leather” bit on the strap will be interesting to see if it holds-up over time. I’m a 5-10 woman and the watch face is 40mm. I have to put the watch strap on the next to last hole to get it tight enough. (That’s why I rated it 4 stars from a strap hole availability for smaller wrists). Some women may not be able to tension it tight enough.

A great value military style fashion watch . Easy to read, lightweight, comfortable to wear all day . It is water resistant to 50m, but I wouldn’t do snorkeling with it as the crown is only a push style, not a screw down crown . I like the military look, and at $24.99, a good value for money spent . I deducted one star as the hands are not luminous at night . UPDATE: it turns out that the hands are luminous at night , a good day outside in the sun did the trick . A now give this watch 4.5 stars .

6 months of ownership:I don't bother with anything fancy. I was looking for a watch that was relatively waterproof, accurate, light weight, and easy to read.This watch definitely hits all those marks.I will give a word of warning that the metal crown/casing seems to be copper (or some copper colored metal) that was coated in some durable process. I had accidentally marred it after wearing the watch with the face on the same side of my palm. I imagine if worn normally, face side up, it would never get scratched up like that.I had considered giving it 4 stars for the coating quality, but I understand they had to build this to a price point.Works perfectly, and I wear it to tell time, not to look good.

So, I ordered this watch for a general work watch, not having to worry about scratching. I got the watch and it looked nice and professional. However, after a day, the watch fogged up! I didn't shower, or swum with it on, and it fogged. It would go away but then come back whenever I put it back on. So I ordered a replacement, and it was much better lasting a week. After I got pushed into a pool by a drunk friend, the watch has more water in it than California. Which is weird because it claims to be water resistant to 50 meters. Never had a problem with accuracy, even with water in the glass, impressive!

Got this watch for my son who is 10. He loves it! I really like the fact that it has all the numbers for him except "3" which is the date window-which he thinks is cool. The band is comfortable woven nylon & sturdy but soft-better than plastic or rubber bands which in my experience eventually get stiff, deteriorate & break. It's an excellent value for the price. This watch is simply designed, looks sharp & leans toward it's #1 function as a watch- it's really great for telling time...

This is a nice watch. Everything worked well and I like the way it looks, but it has one serious problem: there is no protective guard around the stem, and this means that it can be damaged. That's what happened to my first one (same model) ... I hit my arm against something and the stem broke off and the watch was ruined. I next bought a different model watch from Amazon and noticed that there is a protective raised guard on both sides of the stem, which means it won't break off if the watch bumps against something. I like the way this watch (here) looks and the price is great (I can't afford a $10,000 Rolex this year), but would not buy it again because of this flaw. Get a watch with a protective guard for the stem ... actually, most of the ones I'm seeing on Amazon, around this low price at least, don't have them!.
