TONERatchet Handle Compact Head (Socket Hold Type) RH3CH 3/8" Inch Drive

Immediately upon delivery, I popped out the internals and gave all the gear teeth a light polishing to remove potential burrs or debris. Greased up the pawl and gear lever and this thing is a quality ratchet, sound is great and never binds up, extremely smooth and consistent and for the price you cant beat the unique sizing of these. Got both ratchets for $30 each and they're well worth it.

Quality is high. Also wrench operates very smoothly and easily.I used it when changing spark plugs on my Subaru Crosstrek.

I wanted some lighter ratchets so I got both compact tone ratchets. Both of these are unbelievably small and compact. I took a pic with a pen as reference. Excited to try them out and will report of any failures.I have used it for a couple weeks at work and I really like it. Ratchet action is nice and crisp like a ratcheting wrench. Head is tight and I don't worry about teeth slipping.

This ratchet wrench is much smaller than the others in my tool box. Great for changing spark plugs on Subaru engines and working in tight area's.

These "mini" 3/8"-drive ratchets do come in handy.These TONE ratchets require you to depress the "quick-release" all the way in to lock and unlock the socket - be warned.This does mean that the lock mechanism is super secure, but it does slow you down if you're trying to get through a job quickly.I wish I could get a longer handle - I'm already looking at their flex-head ratchets in the same head configuration.These things are not cheap but come in handy when going after Subaru boxer engine coils and spark plugs!This is the primary reason why I use them.Getting a little more length in the handle would really help in these applications.

I love this ratchet when received it I used right away , and I love it . I went right back to see if they had different sizes because it is a good quality tool. Love the feel of the tool you can feel that it is quality tool. I only gave it 4 stars because I just got it and like always time will tell.

First of all, this ratchet is a 1/4" body with a 3/8" drive. The head on this ratchet is very compact, its diameter is about the same as my USA craftsman 14mm socket, another way to put the size into perspective, it's the same size as my thumb, I'm still amazed by it's compactness. The total length is 5.75" so it's pretty short. The ratcheting mechanism is smooth and the back drag is okay, not the best but definitely not the worse, about average. The satin chrome finish is much nicer than what the photos show and there are no rough areas left from forging. The drive head to body fitment is average tightness, again not the best but not the worse. The small switch lever is flush against the body and is easy to use. To disengage the ball detent, you need to push the button pretty far in past flush, I don't really see this as a negative and more of a design quirk as the button doesnt protrude that much and being that it's a 1/4" body with 3/8" drive, the drive and quick release mechanism is smaller than in a 3/8" body ratchet. It could also be purposely designed this way to prevent accidental bumps and dropping the socket. It's something you will have to get used to but it should hopefully operate better once it gets used more and broken in.

大きさ・重さはRH3H(9.5sq)とほぼ同じです。ソケットや中継ぎなどは軽量化されたシリーズがでてませんので、標準の9.5sqで揃えてあるなら敢えてこのコンパクトサイズを選ぶ特段の理由はないでしょう。

The media could not be loaded.  ソケットの差し替えをする時に想像以上にボタンを押し込まないと抜き差し出来ない。しかもボタンの径が小さく、ボタン周りが皿モミ状に切ってはあるが、指の腹で押してリリースするのはほぼ不可能。どうしても指の先で突くように押し下げる必要がある。TONEの別のラチェットでも同様のレビューが多々あることから個体差では無く仕様なのだと思う。ボタンがあと1mm高ければきっとストレスなく差し替え出来るはず。ソケットを頻繁に差し替えしない使い方の場合や、この点を妥協できる場合はこの上なく良い製品なのかもしれない。

最初は小さ過ぎるかなと思ったが、13mmくらいまでの締め付けなら逆に使いやすい。嵩張らないのが良い

デザイン、使い易さ、性能、コスパ、全てにおいて最高だと思います！スナップオン、マック、リックも大好きなのですが高すぎて使うのがもったいないので、結局メインで使うのはTONE製品になってます。ラチェットも長いの短いの首振りなど種類が豊富なのでほぼ全て買い揃えてます。SK11も安くてカッコ良くて使い勝手が良いですが、TONEのほうがちょっと高い分良いと思います。
