Although the product description does not make it clear, this is a scholastic edition, obviously intended for readers about 13 - 16 and not for for adults with a serious interest in the Earhart mystery. It appears to be a good book for young readers. Do not confuse this book with the one with almost identical title by Randall Brink. This one does have some interesting photos, however.

It was so amazing! Amelia Earheart sure has a story to tell. I loved how caring she was, and the author went into detail with what she did to protest. I strongly suggest this book to readers.

Solid overview of the facts behind Amelia Earhart’s rise and disappearance.

I thought this would be an easier read for my kids. More of a high school level than 5th grade.
