Perfect for kids missing their parent
We loved this story for our 3yo niece when her parents were on a trip.

Perfect for working moms
I bought this book for my toddler before I went out of town for work, and he really enjoyed it. We especially loved the tear away strips at the end.

Helpful to prep toddler
This book what exactly what I needed to prepare my little one for our first long separation. And the love you loops at the end were a nice bonus

Good book/activity for kids whose mom travels for work
I travel for work every couple of months and this book was a nice tool to talk it through with our daughter. She had some anxiety the last time I was away so I wanted to try and reassure her. I made 'love you loops' for her which I think helped her through the week (and now when she sees paper chains, she says 'Look! I love you loops!') Overall, I think it's a good book and activity for ~2-5 year olds.

Great
Provides a great tip to help children know how long until his or her loved one will return

Nice book, got me in trouble
My daughter liked the book and it is sweet. Unfortunately, the love loops with the associated "gifts" each night got me in trouble as I had to find lots of gifts to leave for my 11 nights away. My husband said the nightly gifts made her miss me more (but maybe he was projecting)
