Nice replacement grill pan
I got this after I bought a new stove and there wasn’t a broiler pan included. My old broiler pan was 30 years old like the stove I had just replaced. This one is pretty close to my old one. The bottom pan is a little lighter weight than my old one but the top is the same. I have used it several times and it was very easy to clean. I saw complaints that there were sharp edges on other reviews. You may need to use care when washing but I had no problems.

Nice replacement for my old broiler pan
Our old broiler pan was "nonstick" and was peeling...being a guy who hates nonstick, I purchased this replacement. I seasoned the chrome like I would season cast iron...not sure that made a big difference...but this pan seems to work well and clean up well. The only thing I would say is that the chrome grill doesn't fit the pan perfectly...it moves a little...but other than that, it's a nice unit. (Our old pan did not have that poor fit to contribute to movement.) Still, for the price, this is good. Four stars only because of that fitment issue. Note that I am rating based on my expectations for the price as a factor.

Great pan
Best pan I have ever bought. Cleans easily and is very sturdy. Other pans I used to broil food would curl from heat and were extremely difficult to clean. So far this pan doesn’t do that and it’s a joy to use.

Easy to clean
In the past these broiling pans get so stained they won’t get clean. This one cleaned up easily. Very happy.

Durable and good looking
It’s sturdy and large enough for four rib steaks. Pretty easy to clean. Looks very nice. Is heavy and durable. A little pricey but well worth it.

Edges of the bottom half do not have a rolled edge...
I've used this broiler once thus far, and it seems decent. The bottom half had two problems when it arrived. First, the finish had been scraped off at two places along the rim. I suspect that the bare spots would provide a starting point for corrosion over the long haul. I would have returned it for a replacement, except for the second problem. The edges of the metal are not rolled under. This means that the edge is uncomfortably sharp. It was uncomfortable to my fingers even when empty of food. I suspect that the weight of burgers or steaks (or whatever I was broiling) would have increased the discomfort.Since the top half fits the bottom half of my old broiling pan (which does have rolled edges), I decided to simply discard the damaged lower half of the new pan. The bottom half of my old pan is in perfect shape. It's the top half that needed replacing. The top half of the new pan does have rolled edges. Not as critical, since the top half rests on the bottom half, not on my fingers.Another reviewer remarked that the chrome grill washes up more easily than other broiler pans. I'm not sure of that point. I find the tops of all broiler pans to be difficult to clean. In fact, I never could get any of them completely clean until I discovered the Goodbye Detergent All Natural Spahgetti Scrub sold on reuseit.com. It cleans ordinary pots like a breeze, and makes it *possible* to get the tops of broiler pans reasonably clean. (Ah! I see that Amazon sells the scrub as well: Goodbye Detergent All Natural Spaghetti Scrub, Set of 2 )Still, over the course of 6 years, enough residue adhered to my old porcelain top broiler that it was looking pretty rough and getting harder to clean. I finally decided it needed to be replaced because I was concerned that the finish might be breaking down. I didn't want my family to be eating small pieces of finish in with their dinners! So, the new chrome broiler top was easier to clean than my corroded old one. But I suspect it was about the same as the old one when it was new. What I am curious to see is whether the new one will resist corrosion for longer over many years. In any case, it seems to do the job for now. However, I would be unhappy with this product if I were not in a position to pair its top with the bottom of my old pan.UPDATE: Now that I've been using this product for several months, I can report that the top broiler part *is* easier to clean than a ceramic-finish one. My spaghetti-scrub gets *all* the food residue off every time. The top part also continues to work well with the bottom ceramic-finish part from my old broiling pan. I am very satisfied with this mix-n-match solution. As the weeks go by, I become more convinced, however, that if I'd retained the bottom half of this pan I'd be unhappy. The unrolled edges would have been uncomfortable. And the painted finish would not have lasted well.
