GLS Audio Speaker Cable - 16AWG Speaker Wire, 1/4 in TS Connector, 50 Ft

I'm quite surprised at how robust this cable is. Connectors look good (although I have not opened them up to check the soldering), the cable is thick and well protected in a flexible sheath. For the price I'm kind of surprised. Using this to run guitar cabs... 16AWG is more than sufficient for a 100watt amp.

I recently needed a cable to go to stage type speakers using large phone plugs (aka Guitar style plug). Rather than buying wire, connectors and soldering my own I chose this route. It is flexible, sturdy, well made and reasonable cost compared to boutique audio name brands at 3x the price. It worked well and expect it to last for years even with heavy use. Even if you had to go and use these to connect a conventional amp, just choose one twice as long and cut in half and you would still be ahead of the game in time spent (could even add connectors to reattach if need be - it's speaker wire not a Mic cable so no shielding issues)

Since discovering that Amazon had vendors that sold high quality speaker cables for a decent price, I have bought several of these! The quality is there! Non microphonic and awesome sound transfer! I've been a guitar ar player for 37 years and I highly recommend these for your rig! I use these with a variety of heads from a plexi that shakes the planet to a high gain monster. The cables transfer the tone perfectly! Go get some!

Straight off ... the packaging of the product was good. It looked good and professional grade. The cable ties the came with ... I kept; they also are very high quality. GLS Audio followed up on my purchase and they obviously are interested in what I thought of their product. In summary, I use it for my Fender Guitar Amp foot switch. It looks good on stage and performs well. I highly recommend. It is much better quality (and longer) than the switch wire supplied by Fender. Two thumbs up. I'm sure if I have issues they will stand behind their product and make it right. Peace. Out.

Perfectly fine for a small PA rated 100W per side. Each wire is the full 16 Gauge as it should be. At 25’, each connector and ground measures .08Ω on all 4 connections (I bought a pair). I would like to see REAN connectors or better but these Switchcraft copy plugs shouldn’t give me grief if I’m gentle. Good value for the money.

The cables worked well and are holding up in both indoors and outdoor events. The connectors on the ends are much more reliable than those I purchased previously from other companies. The Velcro cable tie is handy. Bought the 16AWG because I'm using for portable PA system with smaller *" woofer 2-way speakers. For my bigger equipment, I prefer 12AWG cable which I also bought from GLS Audio and they are holding up nicely so far. This is important on longer runs. The 50 foot lengths offer greater flexibility than the 25 foot lengths when using in mobile applications.

I love this cable! The clarity is great, the TS plugs glide in and out nicely and the connections are really well. The cable is really flexible and a true 16 AWG copper wire. I felt bad cutting it in half it was so nice! A huge improvement to other cables I had. I bought this cable to make 2 25 foot cables with banana plugs on the other end. I simply cut it in half, tinned the wires and attached them to the desired plugs that I wanted. Eventually I am going to upgrade to Speakon or 1/4. I like how it came with 2 velcro straps. a little loose but they keep the 2 sections together. I am DEFINITELY getting more GLS cables!

Solid speaker cable, and have used it for a few months with no issues.

I bought this for the musician at my work. To the best of my knowledge, sounds fine. But I know nothing about musical equipment. Would buy again if needed.
