Crossrock CRW600BJBK Wooden case for 5 String Resonator Banjo (CRW620BJBK)

This is a GREAT CASE at a very reasonable price for the quality! It arrived quickly and well packaged via FedEx. I was very impressed with the quality and workmanship of this case. The resonator body of my banjo fits snuggly into the soft plush liner very securely. My banjo is also a drop-neck and fits with plenty of room. This case is hefty at around 10 lb. and has a nice leather covered shell. It has 5 antique latches which one locks with a key if you choose to lock it. There are also brass supports on one side and also on the edge to protect the case when setting it down. The handle is well balanced and nicely covered with leather. Feels good in hand with banjo in it. There is a very large accessory compartment inside which is large enough to carry all your travel accessories. This case is so nice I almost wanted to buy a new banjo to go in it! Lol! Great attention to detail. It even has a riveted bronze manufacturer nameplate. Can’t imagine needing or wanting a better case! That said, buy one, you won’t be sorry! Cheers!!! Jerry

I recently purchased a banjo and wanted a hard case for it. This fits my Deering Goodtime 2 banjo perfectly and doesn’t disappoint. Also large cubby space for tuner & picks.

The case is of hardy construction and fits my 5 string well with one little problem. Dimensionally on the plane the body section of the case in relation to the neck rest is deeper. I resolved this by placing the microfiber towel I use to wipe down my instrument (folded) under the drum which makes a soft rest and lifts the instrument the little it needed to level out. Otherwise it is as advertised.

I bought this case and a plastic case that was recommended over this case but I like the vintage look better and I love this case more. The one thing about it is it doesn’t fit my open back banjo as good because the case is deep but this can be easily fixed with a towel.

EDIT: Ok I may have jumped the gun on my review. I’m dropping from 5 to 3 stars. One of the reasons I bought this case were the metal feet specified in the pictures. As you may notice in my new pics, there aren’t any!!! Hopefully they just forgot them and your case will have the feet.ORIGINAL: This case far exceeded my expectations! It fits my Deering Goodtime resonator perfectly and it sits nice and snug in the plushy sidewalls. Good to know it’s safe from changes in temperature and humidity. It’s so sturdy and well made and it looks cooler than heck to boot. You aren’t gonna buy a better case for this price.

My God this is really a great case for a Banjo from beginner to pro I believe this case does its job it strong yet soft inside to cushion your Banjo. The photo has my Banjo and case, all which were brought on Amazon. Thank you all

it fits a DeeringG gootimeE 2 perfectly as stated by another reviewer. . Importantly, It cradles the neck in two places:, fret 3 and fret15 . The case has five latches. two on the handle side, two onet he bout and one on the hinge side of the cover, Case covering is tough vinyl with a tweed print. Handle is first rate and comfortable.While no one likes handing over a musical instrument to airline baggage handlers, if I had to, I think this case would protect the banjo.

I do rate Crossrock cases. This is my third having bought two of the fibreglass cases. Well made, good value, and great customer service - I contacted them in relation to dimensions and they were incredibly helpful
