Love the book almost as much I like the Book of Runes, for different reasons. It is a remarkable work to help with issues that arise.

The Healing Runes I recently had a friend visit from the United States, as we took holiday in a private beach area to unwind and re-energize from our day-to-day lives. I noticed that she would venture off every morning with a book and a matching green bag, always returning with the loveliest smile and the brightest glow. After a few days I asked what she would go off and do every day, as I wanted to know her secret - we were in the most wonderful place to uplift anyone who would visit, yet there was something my friend was reaching everyday that no one else was. She simply said that she was practicing her daily ritual - taking in what the runes meant for her to know or remember that day.After an explanation of what "runes" were and how they can be used to not only heal but keep our spirits alive everyday, I immediately ordered my very own copy. I have never received such insight, love, nurturing, healing, awakening and energy, consistently, on a day-to-day basis.My friend was introduced to this set from being introduced to Susan Loughan. I am so very grateful that she was, because I now too can experience what it's like to have the loveliest smile and the brightest glow. Everyday.

This arrived a day early, in excellent condition (described as "good" in ad); also included the runes, which was a great surprise.

This was one of the first books I bought on runes. There are things of value in it but it really is not accurate. The meanings of runes were given to us orally and in the eddas and while stories of oral traditions often changed from clan to clan and we don't know what they originally were, It's a safe assumption to say that they did not reinterpret the meanings in runes and mix it with a bunch of new age quotes and put it in a book with a label of "healing".

The Healing Runes  I purchased the cheapest book there was available; reading the review of the book it said "no dust cover available, fair condition" Being as I was paying just a little over a dollar for the book this satisfied me, but thinking back, I would like to know,1. are the pages torn any?2. are they moth eaten or is there any mold?3. is there any water damage to the book?these would be important points to consider. I would also like to "see" a page or two from deep inside the book, not just the covers and a page or two inside, to see if it is what I really want. This book was not exactly what I was looking for but is interesting and informative so I am using it actively.I am happy with my Amazon purchase; it was performed rapidly and well, the book arrived in good time and in good condition. I will be purchasing through Amazon again!

Replaced my old worn out one. Came in perfect shape. No damage to binding, or pages. Like new condition. Posted to include bag and stone which did not. Seller made my purchase correction and did right towards buyer. Seller stayed in contact all the way through. Would recommend seller and definitely book. Love love love!!!

This is not the book I ordered. This is however the identical book (down to the green cover) that first introduced me to reading Runes. Seeing as how this is a gift, it was perfect. Also, I was pleasantly surprised with the free hand Batman sketch on the last page (my boyfriend says it looks more like Man-bat, but we’re agreeing to disagree). All in all, a good purchase.

An excellent first set for anyone wanting to learn to work with healing Runes including a book and set of Runes. The accompanying book is a fantastic easy to follow guide to get you started. The Runes are made of clear glass which may not be to everyones taste. I already had a copy of this set which I have been using for a few months but have just upgraded to using a set of natural gem stone Runes so I passed the glass Runes on to a friend. Because I love using the book so much I purchased this set so Imy friend could use the same book. I now have two sets of Runes so I can learn to cast more complex spreads.

I bought the runes as a present. The recipient is very pleased with the runes, but I alsio supplied a seperate book.

The Healing runes seems to be a much loved book in many readers' heart. I think the author has a very beautiful soul and a generosity that are not common. If you are looking for some kind of self-help book AND if you believe in God and are into religion, you might like it. But for the rune student, this is to be avoided. The Healing runes, just like The Book of Runes by the same author, does not have much to do with the nordic tradition. That "runic" system is based on the I Ching. The order of the runes is completely changed. A 25th tile is introduced (named "the blank rune") which is funny because a rune is not a tile but a symbol! But the worst is that the MEANING of many runes has been changed!Our ancestor's heritage deserves more respect...But I think one can give it a try if she/he does not care about the germanic culture and look for a comforting read.

this is a really interesting book. I tried to find other kind of runes books that talk about healing runes, but this is the only one so well written. I suggest it to all people that started the runes study, since there aren't so many that explains healing runes.
