Best Weighing Scale At Any Price
I bought this weighing scale after a very thorough research on Amazon before thanksgiving as I tend to gain a lot of weight during holiday season.I have used (not bought) many high end weighing scales over the years. But this is the best I have used so far. The design is simple, elegant, tasteful. The electronic display is bright, clear, easily readable. You cannot use it on carpet, as the readings will be roughly 1/4th their actual value. It performs fairly well in bathroom unless you are taking 2-hour steam baths and creating thick moisture. Don't splash water on it or keep it on wet floor.Place it on flat tile and it works perfectly. The readings are accurate and the error is less than +/-0.2%. Very reproducible results. The first reading is always for calibration and the letter "C" appears within 10 seconds. Ignore it. Then mount the scale again and it will show you your weight. It comes with one battery which will last at least 3 months with almost daily use. Mine is still working although now it displays "Lo" after every use. A warning that battery will soon exhaust. This does not affect the scale accuracy. You can purchase a pack of 2-batteries for a dollar at dollar store or amazon. The product and the battery is made in China, but its high quality. Looks like the Chinese have really upped their game. The $15.95 price tag at the time of purchase made it a no-brainer.

A great electronic scale that's accurate AND affordable? Yes, please!
I really like this scale and for the price, you really can't go wrong (at least with my current experience with it). It's sleek, lightweight and pretty reliable. You have to keep in mind though that you can't keep this location in a humid (or dust prone) environment so maybe people who like to keep their scales in the bathroom (or under their beds) may have to find another location to store it (so it's probably not the best idea to call this a bath scale) and it's not recommended to store it where you would store your chemicals since it states that the vapors can mess up the internal mechanics. It should be obvious that it's not going to work very well on soft or uneven surfaces like carpet, rugs, or some strange incline so make sure that you're using this scale on a hard, flat surface if you want it to be accurate. Also, if you're storing it in a location where you're not going to weigh yourself (like keeping it on a shelf and taking it out to use it) you have to disregard the first reading and go with the second one which could be a bit annoying to some people. The manual states that you also can't store this scale on its side, it has to be flat on the surface. I'm not sure if that's because it increases the risk of it falling and shattering or because it will mess up the mechanics of the scale, either way, I would avoid doing so.It comes with a CR2032 lithium battery but I'm still unsure how long the battery life is (although the scale does automatically shut off after 10 seconds after using so that's convenient) and turns on as soon as I place one foot on it (no tapping necessary!). The LED display is not lit but then again, I don't think many people weigh themselves in the dark. It has three types of readings: lbs, kg, and st which you can change between from a button on the bottom of the scale. It measures 11.8" x 11.8"The lightest weight it can take is 13.2 lbs so if you're thinking of using this to weigh your lighter pets, it might be a better idea to take your weight, pick up your pet and reweigh yourself, subtracting your first weigh-in to get the weight of your pet. And I'm sure it's pretty obvious to everyone but DO NOT use this scale if you just got out of the shower and have wet feet, you'll just increase your chances of slipping and falling and you'll have to explain to everyone that you broke your arm because you tried to use a scale after you made it slippery with your wet feet and you'll just be embarrassed.Edit: I have been using this scale for a year and 3 months and I still have not had to change the battery.

Weighing In No Problems with Ozeri
When observing this scale in its version of deep turquoise color, it may be easier to imagine the Biblical expression of a magnificent throne resembling a glassy sea like crystal. A handful of marine water is much lighter than the Ozeri's body-weighing scale with its thick glass properties. I would not want to drop it on my bare feet; the injury will result. And also, the product can be easily damaged if mishandled. If those factors don't worry you much, this is a decent selection, especially for its reasonable price and quality. In several succession of days, I weighed myself on it according to the manufacturer's instructions during the same time zones and found it to be consistently accurate. If a person is weighing 1817 pounds, which is unbelievable, remember the dot visible on the digital reading; correctly as 181.7 pounds. The consumer product is limited to 400 pounds; it can not be programmed at a higher hippo-size weigh. It is not difficult to use, and you'll get the data within seconds. Ozeri scale uses AA batteries. The solid surface is a simple, clean wipe.
