Good Investment
I have both the Channellock 960 and this tool. Overall this tool is better for 1/2in and 3/4in locknuts, and it as a nice cut out for gripping conduit. However, the Channellock Pliers do work all the way up to 1-1/2. If I had to choose between the two, I would go with these! They are very well made and worth the money.

Excellent Special-Purpose Pliers.
Really an excellent product. These pliers allow you to tighten and loosen conduit nuts in tight places when a wrench won't fit, and have a serrated section that allows you to keep conduit and round conduit connectors from turning while you tighten a conduit nut or ring. These pliers handle up to 3/4" conduit.

Good fit, not so good finish
I buy Klein electrical tools for their fit and finish. This has the ruggedness and good fit of the old tools, but I was disappointed with the finish. Took the die grinder and knocked off the very sharp edges and polished it a little with scotch brite. So only 4 stars. Otherwise, this is an excellent tool.
