Dorman 603-238 Front Engine Coolant Reservoir Compatible with Select Saturn Models

Sent the reservoir tank back. Defective. In the mean time I went to auto zone and bought one, same company "DORMAN". Auto zone only carried "DORMAN"in that part. The one from auto zone worked untill coolant temp gauge got 1/4 way so I returned that one and got another one from auto zone , light just stayed on. Also yes I did the bypass to make sure it's not a wiring or computer problem, drove it bypassed for two days and light never came on. Tank sensors that dum dum AKA "DORMAN" are using are pure JUNK! Never again "DORMAN" your company sucks.

If your Saturn Vue has the coolant light on and the coolant level seems to be fine, this should fix it. Inside there is a sensor with a float and magnet on it that breaks and will trigger the dash board light, the only way to replace the sensor is to but a new coolant tank. Install was easy and only took 2 tools. Only difference i notice is that the cap did not tighten the same way the old one did, so i kept the old one in case I was not Happy with the new one, otherwise great OME aprt

Just like factory. Installed and works fine for a couple years now. Original was replaced because the sensor was stuck saying low coolant and you can't replace just the sensor.

Sensor does not work. Had to install the old one.

I installed it and sensor did not work. So I called support and requested a call back to get a replacement and I never received a callback. I am hoping for a new replacement that works ,a callback or something. Only time will tell!!

Fix one issues to just have another sensor no good

Within a week, it was doing the same thing the previous one was doing: the warning light comes on after a few minutes of driving, even thought there is plenty of water in the reservoir. So I am back to taping over the light with a piece of black electrical tape. PITA
