works great
I waited for a few winter storms and windy weeks to comment, not one clamp came off or moved on the fabric at all. Stayed in place and my gazebo top flaps stayed in place with bungees and kept the top tight on the gazebo frame allowing the rain to run off instead of puddling up on the top. Can't imagine this clamp not performing as well for other types tarp functions you my have in store. I did use a pair of pliers to turn the screw on the clamp. Too tight a fit to just use your fingers. Not an issue at all.

surprisingly whimpy in Texas 'breeze'
Application: Solar Pool Cover.I tried several ways to get the clips to clamp effectively. Single layer, doubled over, on seam, off seam, crushing bubbles, you get the picture. In a mild Tx wind ~30mph, they all pulled off. One stayed attached.sorry, I'm going with grommets in the fabric (when the weather gets better)

These barely open
Maybe I should have read the specs more thoroughly, but we expected these to be able to fit around a tarp and something else. For example, we would use them to attach a tarp to our tent pole for extra coverage in the rain. These were worthless for that application. You can literally only fit a flat tarp in the clip part. Other tarp clips we've used open up far wider.

Fairly good!
I haven't utilized them long but they seem to be enduring all of our many weather events. It may be that I'm just not strong enough but their 'bite' isn't quite as strong as I would have liked. Still, they do a reasonably good job of holding on. Especially with our high wind gusts.

They look great but time will tell.
Product looks just like the standard type gadget that I have used before with the exception of the tension screw. First impression is not impressed. They are really stiff and the jaws don't open very far. The thumb screw works but is way too short. Time will tell if they work on my tarps in high wind. I will edit my review after i use the product

Camping Necessity
These are so handy for camping. I use them to keep my tent stretched tight in the places where Coleman *should have* put a loop. Lots of other uses for these as well. You can never have too many

Holding on tight in strong winds
Bought these clips to secure a shade cloth over our back porch. The fabric has become sun worn and over the years the grommets have pulled loose or torn the edges. These have been up for a month now and have held tight and not ripped the shade cloth despite pretty good winds.

Work great!
These worked great holding the plastic tarp on my shelterlogic shed. Once the roof wore out i needed another option. The plastic I bought wasn’t great as far as durability but with these clips i was able to roll a shirt piece of rope in the edge of the plastic cover and clip these right on and tie it securely. No issues with ripping yet and it’s been a few windy winter months.
