Ben&Anna Sensitive Papertube Japanese Cherry Blossom Deodorant 60 g

Only product that i can find that is cruelty free, Vegan, bicorbonate free and aluminium free.

I bought this for my daughter for a natural deodorant (as commercial ones can increase risk of cancer). Gutted I didn't read the ingredients- the main ingredients is talc- this is mined with asbestos, another cause of cancer. After doing some research, some talc is mined asbestos free- but research is mixed and animals in testing still grew tumours. I'm amazed how an award winning natural product can be allowed to have this as their main ingredient. Plus fragrance is not nice. Will be buying a new brand straight away

Not very impressed. The smell is non existent apart from it meant to be Cherry Blossom. It stops me getting wet armpits and I don’t get a rash as I do with Other Natural Deodorants that contain Bicarbonate of Soda.The smell really lets it’s down as I don’t smell fresh during the day.

Best anti-perspirant I've tried (better than Sure aerosol etc.) No white residue, smells like Refreshers or Love Hearts sweets but not cloying or overly sweet. Lasts exactly 6 months (I'm on 5th tube). Slightly concerned about the talc content as it's a carcinogen (see Johnson & Johnson law suit) but using a very small amount and not like shaking on clouds of talcum powder. Will continue to use until I find an alternative that's as good.

I've stopped using aluminium deodorants years ago, as well as stopping putting more chemicals in my body.This smells really nice and it is effective. At least to me. But it didn't do as good with my girlfriend. So don't run out of your old deodorant just yet!Sadly the packaging has its problems. Bare in mind this is completely environmental friendly, hence it is a slightly unfair, but it is frustrating nonetheless.When it reaches near the end of its life, problems start to appear. The bottom layer comes off every time I pull the top layer. I think due to the glue having weakened. For the same reason, the top also becomes loose. These are inconvenient, but the big problem for me is the consistency of the deodorant itself also starts to come off in blocks, as it gets softer. As such the only way I can apply it now is with my fingers. I really don't like using my fingers to apply, hence why I prefer a stick in the first place.Please note: product received from the vegankind subscription a while ago, hence why it is not verified.

I have been using ben and anna products for the past couple of years, and have never been disappointed. The deodorant stick melts easily, and provides long lasting protection all day. I love this product!

I just wanted to let you know that I love these deodorants - I used to have real trouble staying fresh with sprays so these really have been a game changer for me.BUT,yes, the packaging can be iffy. When it's too tight to move, you can use something to gouge between the cardboard and the deodorant itself to loosen it. I have previously used the nail file part on my nail clippers. It isn't the tidiest solution but I've only had one like this and I get through at least 6 a year, but I do like that it's cardboard packaging so better for the planet etc. so seems a small price to pay.Then, for those that are finding the product too hard to spread - it does usually soften more with use, but to get it started you might find a little bit of warm water helpful to start a glide.Hope that's helpful. I'd hate for these to ever go out of production - I, and other people's noses, need these in my life. Lol!

This product is as hard as a rock - instructions advise to hold it to skin to soften, held it under my armpit for over a minute and it still didn't soften in able to spread, just dragged across the skin. Also difficult enough to push the cardboard tube up inside to actually get to it. The scent is quite nice though that's not much use unless you just want to sniff it rather than use it. Sent message to buyer but didn't receive a response.
