I am very pleased with this purchase. It is not perfect but this is a great knife for the price. There is a good polish on the blade, bolsters, and scales. It is not a mirror finish but you will need more than the naked eye to see that it isn't. The scales are thicker at the center making for a comfortable grip. I love the looks of the blade. The point is up-swept just enough to give it an awesome look. This is not a one hand open. It will take two. The blade is tight and there are no screws to to loosen. The lock back mechanism is solid so the blade wont close on your hand. The finger nail test finds one rough spot on the blade edge. It slices paper like a razor blade. There is a slight space between the scales and the bolsters, maybe a few thousandths of an inch. If you run a thumb across it, you will barely notice it. One center rivet on the scales can be felt. The others are perfectly smooth. All in all the fit and finish is excellent. The sheath is well made and has a snap, not Velcro.

The knife in the picture looks colorful (including the blade). This is not the case of the actual knife. The handle is light greenish and the blade is as silver and metallic as any knife would be.The blade came in a plastic bag which, was placed in the black belt pouch. The pouch is well made and the latch to lock the top of the pouch is well "clicked" to make a good snappy contact.Yes, my girl scout loves it, and it will do what she plans to do with it when going camping, so no complains there. It is functional and well made. I recommend it, but don't expect to receive what you see in the picture.

Serious folding hunter, I was expecting a much smaller knife, as most of the Valtev knives I have are Pocket EDC size. This is between Buck 110 and Ranger, and out of the box feels as strong. It is also quite attractive with the MOP like scales. The blade shape is a little odd and has a bit of wobble, If it didn't look so good the blade wobble would have made it a 3 star.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the scales are not perfectly flush with the bolsters--other than that it seems to be a very good piece of steel. It didn't arrive razor sharp, but the edge seems to be properly ground. It's a great deal for the price, and I just turned around and ordered two more knives from Valtev. On a side note--I ordered it on the 7th and I received it on the 9th, so good job on the shipping!

Love this! My fiance loves it. I bought him this for his Father's Day gift & his wedding band because we are getting married in 18 days! He dropped his favorite pocket knife in the canyon in a river a couple weeks ago. This one is really good quality, super sharp. A great pocket knife.

I recently purchased this knife and was extremely imlressed by its quality. The best way i can describe it is by saying its body and durability are quite lime and remind me of Old timer knives, Buck knives, or many the other old school knives back in the day. Just wanted to say thank you to your craftsmanship on this knife.
