This pulley / tackle system worked great, perfect for my purpose. The cost was low, and quality was high for the price. I used it indoors to hang Heavy Light Fixtures for 12ft+ ceilings, - The Fixtures were less than 100lbs so easily within capability / capacity of this device. Highly Recommend - I could Not have done this job without this device.

This block and tackle came already laced up; it was ready to use out of the box. The pulleys and hooks look to be plated well and the overall construction, while not industrial thickness, is not thin metal and looks like it will more than handle its rated load. The rope was a decent length which should be sufficient for most applications. The inclusion of two short slings is a nice touch and made securing the upper end of the b&t to two 2x4s easy. The addition of a pair of lightweight gloves was thoughtful… be sure to use gloves and avoid rope burns. Finally, the included drawstring bag is a must… the b&t arrives with a couple zip-ties holding it together, and it’s almost impossible to re-fold everything to fit back in the box (though it fits nicely in the bag.As with a lifting operation, be safe and never put any of your body under the load at any time.

As other reviewers have said, the rope is thin that and affects performance. In my case I had to lift some stuff into an attic. At around the 200 lb mark my hands were killing me and the rope was just cutting into me, it took quite a bit to get stuff around that weight hefted into the attic. The rope is really slippery / hard to grip / doesn't grip to whatever you're pulling very well. It does work, just not well.

I bought this to lift a heavy E bike onto a repair stand. The construction of this is solid and I’m sure it will serve me for many years. I’m very satisfied with this purchase.

Excellent pulley system kit. I initially purchased one to create a way to elevate my bike when not in use in my garage. I wanted something that contained all the pieces/hardware necessary to hang a bike, and make it easy to access on demand. This pulley system fits the bill. The blue straps wrap around most any bike’s handbar upright and seat post, creating a single point of contact with the pulley’s hook. The rope that is provided with the pulley is very long - long enough to allow the hanging of a bike to a 18 foot high ceiling with room to spare. The rope is also made of a material that is easy to tie down and handle. As for performance, the pulley allows for extremely easy raising and lowering of a bike (or similarly weighted object). It is effortless to raise and lower the bike. The hooks on either end of the pulley are large and of high quality. This kit is so good that I purchased two more; one to raise and stow a second bike and a third to stow my metal wheelbarrow which is only used occasionally. These pulleys have allowed me to clear space in my garage, provided simple access to the bikes & wheelbarrow when needed, are very easy to install and super nice to use. They even come with a pair of gloves to ensure that you don’t get rope burns when you raise & lower your equipment. I strongly recommend this product.

Delivery was fast.The unit looks solid enough for the light duty work that I'm going to be putting it through. I had to knock off a star because I had to redo some of the line work for the ropes. Namely it came with the jankiest looking not holding the things together.One quick bowline knot later and this will be perfect for lifting my tonneau cover off the truck.

So far my Husband loves it , seems sturdy & made with good material , I'll have to do an edit after he uses the product to give it a complete review.
