dreamGEAR PlayStation 4 Dual Charge Dock

It is very compact and the build quality is pretty good. It comes with an adapter that you plug into the outlet on one side and on the other end is the same USB that comes with the controllers.Charge time was a little under 3 hours, just as stated in the product page. As soon as you plug it in, the LED lights will glow blue, even if there's no controller on it which is pretty annoying since the lights are actually very bright and there's no way to turn them off while charging. Other chargers I've had for other type of controllers usually have a much smaller light.It's a little awkward to plug the controllers in, they end up being really close together and a couple of times I ended up unplugging the other one.It does the job so I won't complain a lot about it, and it would be a 5 star review if it wasn't for my main complaint. If I want to keep it next to the TV, the light is very distracting.

It charges the controllers as promised, but they are extremely tricky to place onto the charging docks. There are other chargers out there that allow you to pretty much drop the controller down and have it charge and work just as well. For this one you have to line up the controller perfectly onto the charger, which can be difficult when one is already charging and you're trying to place the second controller on the charger as well. I would not recommend this dock.On the plus side, it has a nice look to it with the blue LED lighting, but it just is not very functional.

I bought this as a gift for my husband during the holidays and he loved it. Shipping was fast and packaging was great for a gift. Warning - it does not stay only blue. It lights up red when charging, it is bright blue when nothing is plugged in or when finished charging. I was very excited for this to come in and for about a month everything was working just fine. As of recently, one of the sides does not always recognize controller (which is a real pain), so I can only charge one at a time. I would have given this 5 stars if it didn't act up recently, but still a good product for price.

When its charging, nice red color not too bright. Once it's charged, HOLY BRIGHT BLUE. Part of me thinks its really cool but another part of me dislikes that it acts as a night light wherever you place it. Putting the controller on the charger is not the easiest and you cant just throw it on there quickly. Liken it to plugging your cell phone in, in the dark. You fumble around till you get it. I have turned my PS4 back on numerous times by pressing the PS button while putting it on the charger, that causes a bit of frustration. Would really like the charger if it charged the controllers right side up somehow.

I got this charger last night and I am extremely disappointed. It is the worst possible design. the charger can hold two ps4 controllers, however getting the controllers mounted to the device without breaking or damaging the charging port on your PS4 controller is nearly impossible and I have an engineering degree. Imagine how fast the controller will break for some 12 year old.I lined it up, slowly, carefully, both docking station in hand and controller in hand. STILL had a very difficult time aligning the ports and when they do connect, there is zero support for the controller, so when you try to put the other controller on the station the first one falls off the dock. It is by far the most deficient design imaginable. You wouldn't guess that looking at the pic. Not until you have both controller and docking station in hand does the design flaw of this piece become apparent.Horrible design. I will simply use the micro usb cables and charge my controllers from extra USB ports on my computer.WARNING-- DO NOT BUY- IT will break your ps4 controller after very short time, I guarantee it. - Unless you like paying $50 for replacement controllers I would suggest finding a different docking station or just using the usb charging cables.Hope this helps.

The DreamGEAR Dual Charge Dock for PS4 is a unique addition to your entertainment center. The blue and red lights are vibrant and fun to look at, especially in the dark. The curvature shape attributes of the charger provide an innovative looking build design. Functionality is present but not flawless - controllers charge up just fine however access to the docking bay connections could have been designed better. You will want to plug your second controller in carefully and with ease so as not to disturb the controller that is already docked/charging. Other than that, I love the item!

It's good, it does it's job, it's small and sturdy and the connection to the wall is with a micro USB. It doesn't look too much like the picture, the shape is accurate but the LEDs glow blue when no controller is present or its fully charged, and red when charging. I had one weird thing happen when I unplugged it from the base, and attempted to use the PS button to turn the PS4 on it didn't work, but it only happened once, and when it came on it was still synced.

These are by far the worst designed dual PS3 / PS4 controller charger.Don't buy them. First off the controllers are almost impossible to fit into the charger together. They made the male end of the micro usb port, the part that plugs into each controller, at least double the length of a normal micro usb. Because of that they are fragile. That fragility alone may have been all right if the design hadn't been such a major fail. The controllers have to be plugged into those doubly long usb posts with nothing else stabilizing them. On top of that they didn't even design in enough room for both of the controllers to fit. If you happen to get them both on, after spending 10 minutes ruining the usb ports on each controller by getting one on only to knock it off while trying to squeeze in the other (back and forth, you get the idea), there is no guarantee that they will even charge. The lights turn from blue to red when they are charging but the bad design and the weird usb post never lets you know that the controller is secure. After only using them a couple times I'm pretty sure one side doesn't work and the other is questionable.
