It is a little difficult getting the towers out without breaking them, but other than that it gets the job finished.

The media could not be loaded.  I threw an ocean-themed tea party and used this mold to make a sand castle cake. It turned out great!I used a Krusteaz cinnamon crumble cake mix (needed to use almost 2 full boxes to fill the mold). I didn’t follow the Box directions exactly as sprinkling in the crumble packet affected the structural integrity of the cake; so I gently folded half of the cinnamon crumble mix into a portion of the batter and gently folded/ marbled it into the plain batter. After the cake cooled I poured the remaining crumble topping around the base of the cake (to look like sand) and sprinkled cinnamon sugar over the cake for added texture.I added some sugar sea stars/ sand dollars and a pink sea shell/ Pearl/ star sprinkle mix to the “sand” and decorated with a small sand bucket and tools. On and around the cake stand.This cake would probably look good dusted lightly with powdered sugar to highlight the details.I’m not sure about the quality and longevity of the mold. It turns white in the creases when pinched, and the edges have discolored a bit after about 4-5 uses, but I have definitely gotten my money’s worth out of it already.

Pretty good product.Easy to use.Just make sure to fill in all parts of the mold.My first time using this and turned out good, I think.I just stated using molds too so I think it can only get better with practice.Our granddaughter loved it.

Used this for a Lord of the Rings cookbook recipe, this mold was perfect for the Helm’s Deep Apple Cider Honey Cake! It held up the shape like a champ, definitely will be using this again and again.

I didn’t think I was a “custom birthday cake for the kid” kind of person, but this was easy and a lot cheaper than a traditional metal Bundt. It also collapses a lot smaller for storage. Just be sure to put it on a baking sheet in the oven.

I tried 2 times to make a cake for my grandsons birthday. The first one was a bundt cake recipe that was undercooked and caved in on itself. It was difficult to tell the doneness. I should have used a long skewer to test and not a toothpick. The 2nd cake was a pound cake recipe that I cooked for the normal time but used convection. It is shown in the pictures. The mold didn't hold its shape and the outer portions are overcooked. I will never use this again. It would be just dumb luck if I baked anything in it and it cooked properly. There are no recipes formulated for these pans, it comes without directions, and the test kitchen doesn't say anything about them. I will probably return it since it didn't work. I did read the great reviews here but since giving it a try I am convinced the reviews are phony. The cakes in the pictures are too perfect. I could probably create a "cake" like that by packing some dirt in the pan and un-molding it. The edges of the mold never filled properly. This product is a $10 beach toy.

This mold works beautifully for cakes, make sure you put it on another baking sheet before placing in the oven b/c it’s flimsy.It bakes beautifully with minimal effort.

I ordered this to make a Bowser's castle cake for my son's birthday, and it worked great! Cake slid out perfectly and it was exactly what I wanted.
