I absolutely love this garden knife. I have been using it almost daily for about 2 weeks. I've used it for planting, transplanting, pruning, and cutting various materials. This knife is solid, sturdy and sharp. The pointed tip and sharp blade allowed me to work it into our tough and rocky clay soil. The measurement markings on the blade were extremely helpful for planting bulbs at the proper depth and even spacing out the plants. The serrated side of the blade easily cut through thick roots/branches, twine, and weed barrier. Thank you Berry & Bird for creating such a high quality, multi-purpose gardening tool!!!

This is undoubtedly one of the better products i've purchased on Amazon due to the value. I was looking for a low key,low-cost, portable digging tool , capable of digging 5 to 10 gallon holes in a variety of sediment layers including shale. It arrived in 2 days well packaged. My first impressions were the quality of the machining on the one piece stock, stainless steel knife. It's concave design is perfect for digging in hard soils, cutting through roots with it's serrated edge. It's fine edge perfect for delicate cuts. It's surface polished to a high finish. It also includes 6 inches of scaled markings in eighths. Thoughtfully included is an embossed leather scabbard & a sharpening stone. Functions include a knife, a saw, a digging tool, or as a measuring device for planting bulbs & calculating canopy to light deck distances. This will replace several tools in my grow tool box & recommend for all levels of gardeners. Happy Shopping !

This will split clumps of plants, cut weed roots, hack out weeds in the lawn, and much more. Haven't tried to cut down a tree or shrub with it yet, but I have no doubt it would work.The blade is thick with a full tang. I haven't sharpened it yet, but I see no reason to doubt that it can be sharpened. It comes in a sturdy leather sheath with it's own sharpening stone, too. Well worth the price.

Very nice knife, exactly what I wanted. My only complaint is that the snap buckle broke off after a couple of weeks. I actually prefer it without the buckle so I can put it back into it's holster with just one hand.

Very useful for weeding , cuttting , popping out troublesome roots, etc.

Hori hori - Dig dig - do you dig? I just absolutly love this garden tool...EVERYTHING about it...super sturdy stainless steel (clean your gear after every use and you will be rewarded for a lifetime) quality wood handle (treat with mineral oil to keep it beautiful and increase life). It's SO SUPER AWESOME the wife got jealous...after multiple comments, I had to buy her one to keep the peace! Dig, cut, edge or defend yourself if it comes to it. No matter your need...this hori hori has got you covered...dig dig...grow grow...buy buy!

A good addition to help dig out roots and or dig a hole to plant bulbs. Soil is compact so needed something sturdy and tough. The sheath is convenient and safely keeps the garden knife close by.

After I heard so many good things about Hori Hori knives, I finally ordered one myself. This past week I was able to try it out in the garden. Very handy for cutting back ornamental grasses and digging out weeds. In the fall it will be great for planting smaller bulbs.

Das Messer ist ein muss für jeden HobbygärtnerOb abgestorbene Gräser, kleine Äste oder Zwiebeln einsetzen, alles ist machbar 👍

Nach einer Gartensendung habe ich beschlossen das ich doch nicht alle Gartengeräte habe…Das Messer liegt einfach besser in der Hand als zum Beispiel eine kleine Hacke.Prima auch für enge Stellen.

Habe das Gartenmesser ausprobiert und fuer gut befunden.Macht einen sehr stabilen und robusten Eindruck.
